Patent
24 Feb 1989
TL;DR: A benzoylurea derivative represented by the following formula, where R is a fluorine or chlorine atom, R ¼ is a hydrogen atom when R¹ is a chlorine atom and X is CF₂Br, CCl, CBr¼, CFHCl, CFHCF₃, CF HOCF, CF HOF, or CFHOC¼-n, is a useful insecticide or ovicide and can be formulated it into a composition for such use as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A benzoylurea derivative represented by the following formula, wherein R¹ is a fluorine or chlorine atom, R² is a fluorine atom when R¹ is a fluorine atom, and R² is a hydrogen atom when R¹ is a chlorine atom, and X is CF₂Br, CCl₂H, CBr₂H, CFHCl, CFHCF₃, CFHOCF₃, CFHOC₂F₅ or CFHOC₃F₇-n, is a useful insecticide or ovicide and can be formulated it into a composition for such use. An intermediate from which the benzoylurea (I) can be prepared is an aniline of the formula wherein X is as defined above.

TL;DR: In this paper, a benzoyl isocyanate (BIS) is used to react with a 4-anilinoaniline compound in an inert solvent such as toluene at 0-80 deg.C to give a compound shown by I.
Abstract: NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R1 is F or H; R2 is Cl or H; R3 is F, Br or lower haloalkyl; X and Y are O or S). EXAMPLE:N-2,6-Difluorobenzoyl-N'-3,5-dichloro-4-[4-(trifluoromethoxy) anilino]phenylurea. USE:An insecticide and acaricide having high fatal activity especially against larvae and young imagoes of Tetranychidae and sterilizing activity against female imagoes. PREPARATION:A benzoyl isocyanate or benzoyl isothiocyanate compound shown by formula II is reacted with a 4-anilinoaniline compound shown by formula III in an inert solvent such as toluene at 0-80 deg.C to give a compound shown by formula I.

TL;DR: The benzoylurea derivative of formula I (R1 is Cl or F; R2 and R3 are same or different F or H; R5 is halogen, H, methyl or trifluoromethyl; X is O or S)..
Abstract: NEW MATERIAL:The benzoylurea derivative of formula I (R1 is Cl or F; R2 and R3 are same or different F or H; R5 is halogen, H, methyl or trifluoromethyl; X is O or S). EXAMPLE:N-(2,6-difluorobenzoyl)-N'-{2,5-difluoro-4-[3-chloro5-(trifluo romethyl)-2- pyridylthio]phenyl}urea. USE:Useful as an insecticidal and miticidal agent. It is effective against insects such as larva of Lepidoptera (e.g., armyworms), larva of Diptera (e.g., Culex pipiens) and larva of Hymenoptera (e.g., German cockroach) as well as their ova. It has low toxicity to warm-blooded animals and can be administered to domestic animals such as cattle and pig by oral administration. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a compound of formula II with an aniline compound of formula III.
