TL;DR: In this paper, a building system integrating the combination of aluminum and steel structural elements for the efficient assembly of stone and glass panels in a curtain wall system which is conspicuous for its lack of a grid appearance is presented.
Abstract: A building system integrating the combination of aluminum and steel structural elements for the efficient assembly of stone and glass panels in a curtain wall system which is conspicuous for its lack of a grid appearance. A plurality of discrete steel clips are utilized for securing stone panels to supporting mullions. A plurality of aluminum members are secured to structural mullions whereby glass may be mounted thereto. The stone and glass panels are sealably secured adjacent one another while a glazing adapter is constructed for assembly over the structural mullions there behind. A splice facilitates mating engagement of the aluminum mullions to permit relative movement therebetween. In this manner, both steel and aluminum may be utilized most efficiently for the assembly of stone and glass panels in a curtain wall system with improved structural and aesthetic qualities.

TL;DR: A silicone slab for use in a building curtain wall to seal the joints between adjacent support members in the curtain wall is described in this article, where a U-shaped channel is defined for support of the wall material.
Abstract: A silicone slab for use in a building curtain wall to seal the joints between adjacent support members in the curtain wall. The curtain members define a U-shaped channel for support of the curtain wall material. Adjacent ends of the support members are sealed by placing a silicone slab in the joint bridging the two support members. The silicone slab is retained in place by a silicone sealant.

TL;DR: In this article, a colored glass curtain wall for a building and a method for constructing the glass-rimmed curtain wall is described. But the method is not described in detail.
Abstract: A colored glass curtain wall for a building and a method for constructing the glass curtain wall are disclosed. The colored glass curtain wall comprises a plurality of individual panels interconnected by a support frame. Each individual panel has an inboard sheet and an outboard sheet, both of which are preferably made of glass. At least part of the interior surface of the outboard glass sheet is preferably roughened by either a sandblasting or etching process. The exterior surface of the inboard sheet has a coating of opaque paint corresponding to the roughened portion. A reflective coating may also be applied to either the inboard or outboard sheet.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a buffer member to prevent the generation of crack and dew condensation on a floor concrete and prevent the erosion of a fastener by previously covering the fastener for installing a curtain wall, with buffer member before the laying of floor concrete.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of crack and dew condensation on a floor concrete and prevent the erosion of a fastener by previously covering the fastener for installing a curtain wall, with a buffer member before the laying of floor concrete. CONSTITUTION: A curtain wall 1 is installed onto a body 3 through a fastener 2 fixed on the back surface of the curtain wall 1, and a floor surface 91 is formed by laying the floor concrete 9 onto the floor plate of the body 3, and the fastener 2 is embedded into the floor concrete 9. Before the floor concrete 9 is laid, the fastener 2 is covered by a buffer member 8 so that the floor concrete 9 and the fastener 2 do not contact. The buffer member 8 possesses elasticity, water impermeability, and heat insulation performance, and is formed from foamed material, rubber, etc., so as to cover all the fastener 2 and bolts and nuts. Therefore, the generation of crack on the floor concrete 9 due to the vibration of the fastener 2 is prevented, and the rusts and erosion of the fastener 2 are suppressed, and the generation of dew condensation on the floor concrete 9 can be prevented. TL;DR: In this article, an opening section 6 is formed to an old curtain wall by a drill, etc., and an H beam 7 as the beam material of a body 2 is exposed, thus accurately forming the opening sections 6 easily while also reducing the deformation and damage of the original curtain wall.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To form an opening section accurately and easily, and to reduce the damage of an old curtain wall by shaping the opening section near the mounting section of the old curtain wall. CONSTITUTION: An opening section 6 is formed to an old curtain wall 1 by a drill, etc., and an H beam 7 as the beam material of a body 2 is exposed. The opening section 6 is shaped near the mounting section of the old curtain wall 1 supported to the H beam 7 by a fixture 8 at that time. Accordingly, transmission over the old curtain wall 1 of a shock by the drill is lowered when the opening section 6 is formed, thus accurately forming the opening section 6 easily while also reducing the deformation and damage of the old curtain wall 1.
