Abstract: The invention discloses a dry-hanging curtain wall for thermal insulation and decoration and an installation technique thereof, which essentially comprises a 'duplex F' shape installation hanging part; the radial frameworks and the zonal frameworks of the 'duplex F' shape installation hanging part are vertically arranged; a first layer of the radial frameworks with two or more than two layers is level to the zonal frameworks and the radial framework at the last layer is at a certain distance from the tail end of the zonal framework; the width and thickness of the radial frameworks at every layer can be equal or not. Insulation boards can be fixed in a point-typed installation and location method by the installation hanging part, thus overcoming the defects of the prior art, providing an installation technique of the thermal insulation and decoration curtain wall without installing the horizontal and the vertical joist, simplifying the installation procedure, saving the installation raw materials and cost and overcoming the defect that the rain leakage is easy to happen in the splicing seam of the insulation board adopting the traditional method.

Abstract: The invention discloses a dry-hanging structure of a stone curtain wall, which comprises a curtain wall frame, a beam, a stone plate and a dry-hanging element fixed between the beam and the stone plate, wherein the dry-hanging element is formed by connecting a hanging seat fixed on the beam and a hanging element fixed on the stone plate; a lateral part of the hanging seat extends outwards to form a hook with an upward hook mouth; and the end part of the hanging element on the stone plate is in hooking fit with the hook. The dry-hanging structure of the stone curtain wall is characterized in that: a joint between the hanging element and the hanging seat is provided with a bolt which is used for adjusting the height deviation of the plate; the hanging seat is provided with a long hole which is used for adjusting length deviation; and the inside of the long hole is provided with a fixing element for fixedly connecting the hanging seat and the beam. The stone plate in the dry-hanging structure of the stone curtain wall can be separately replaced, the installation is convenient and secure, and the cost and the installation charge are saved, thus the dry-hanging structure of the stone curtain wall has good promotion value.

A method for refurbishing an existing curtain wall attached to a base structure is also presented. This proposed concept can significantly reduce the time and costs for refurbishing an existing curtain wall.

In each transition panel, a frame is assembled by a jamb frame member connecting with the upper frame member and the lower frame member. As a result, the curtain wall system can be easily erected in a bottom-up procedure, a top-down procedure, or the combination of the two.

As the stone curtain wall is tightly attached to a civil engineering structure, the fitment space can be greatly saved under the condition of not affecting the appearance of high buildings, and the effective use area is effectively increased. The installation mode of the back-bolt type stone curtain wall is the same as that of a common back bolt, the construction is easy, the connection mode is simple and practical, the structure is stable, the stress is reasonable, a great amount of stone curtain wall framework is saved, and the construction efficiency of the curtain wall is improved.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a curtain wall structure for a construction which enables a mullion frame to endure forward-backward vibration by reinforcing the strength of the mullion frame and which uses a fixing means to reinforce the fixing strength of a transom frame fixed on the mullion frame, the curtain wall structure comprising: a mullion frame which has multiple reinforcing grooves therein and which is vertically installed; multiple reinforcing plates disposed in the reinforcing grooves of the mullion grooves; a fixing means disposed on one side of the mullion frame; and a transom frame fixed by the fixing means and disposed on one side of the mullion frame. The curtain wall structure is provided to prevent the mullion frames from being separated from each other by securely fixing joint parts of the million frames even though vibration is generated by interconnecting the reinforcing plates installed inside a vertical bar and to prevent the transom frames from breaking away from the fixing bar even though vibration is generated, since coupling bolts, which fix the transom frames fixed on a bracket, are combined with the bracket and the fixing bar fixed on the bracket.

Connection between two adjacent panels utilizes an external bracket with two bolts, each bolt mating with a nut protruding from a slotted bracket embedded in each of two adjacent panels The embedded brackets have eyelets for passage of a rod of the reinforcing grid. The lowermost panels of the system are anchored to the building foundation, thus the load of the entire curtain wall system and the embedded reinforcing grid can be transmitted to the foundation. The system incorporates means of adjusting the fitting together of panels to compensate for minor deviations in the dimensions and elevations of construction elements.

Abstract: This article presents a three-dimensional numerical simulation method for blast response calculation of insulating glass in a curtain wall based on multi-material arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) formulation and high-performance computer. The whole analytical model consists of explosion, air, curtain wall system, and ground. In particular, detailed components including insulating glass panels, aluminum column, silicone sealant, and other parts in the curtain wall are set up in terms of actual size and actual assembly. This model takes account of the coupling between blast and structure, nonlinear material behavior, brittle failure of glass material, and non-reflecting boundary definition. Final calculation has been performed on the Dawning 4000A supercomputer using the finite-element code LS-DYNA 971 MPP. The propagation of shock wave in air and blast-structure interaction is quite well estimated by numerical calculation. Abstract: The invention provides a glass curtain wall supported by a beam-free frame, comprising a frame part and a panel part. The frame part comprises an upright post, a cross girder and a cross girder cover, wherein the cross girder and the upright post are connected; an upright post adhesive tape penetrates through a notch of the upright post; the cross girder cover is clamped with the upright post adhesive tape and buckled on the cross girder; the panel part comprises a glass sheet unit which comprises glass and subframe assemblies and is connected with the upright post by a briquette; and the cross girder is provided with a flexible cushion. The invention comprises glass curtain walls supported by various frames, such as hidden frames, semi-hidden frames, bright frames, and the like, utilizes the self strength and the rigidity of a glass panel to change a supporting mode thereof, breaks through a traditional four-edge supporting mode into an opposite-side supporting mode by an analysis method, a finite element analysis method and experiments to form a construction mode of the glass curtain wall supported by the beam-free frame, thereby achieving the aims of reducing the consumption of metal sections and enabling the frame-supported glass curtain wall to save more energy and be simpler to process and more convenient to mount.

The novel glass curtain wall structure is characterized in that the original mode of connecting glass and pressing plates is changed into the mode of fastening the curtain wall pressing block connecting pieces to the nylon clamping grooves, thereby omitting materials of an auxiliary frame, structural adhesive, double-sided adhesive tape and the like in an original curtain wall, saving energy sources and material, reducing the construction procedure of adhering the glass with the auxiliary frame and the transportation procedure of secondary carrying and the like, and decreasing transportation cost. Abstract: The single-layer cable net supported glass curtain wall has been applied in many building structures all over the world. In service, it will inevitably be subject to various damages. To study the influence of such damages on the static behavior of the single-layer cable net supported glass curtain wall, a full-scale model with the outside outline size of 4.85 m × 4.85 m and 4 × 4 grids is designed and tested. Two kinds of damages that are the cable prestress loss and cable anchorage end failure are led into the structure model during the test, and their influence has been investigated. The stiffness contribution of glass panels to the single-layer cable net supported glass curtain wall structure with or without damages and its change have been tested and analyzed. The results show that the maximum change rate of nodal deflection is 13.78% for the damage of cable prestress loss, while the change rate of nodal deflection is between 7% and 22% for the damage of cable anchorage end failure. The influence degree of the damages depends on the ratio of the structure initial stress stiffness change caused by damages to the total stiffness of the structure. The stiffness contribution of glass panels increases with the load increase. Under the same loading condition, the stiffness contribution of glass panels to the damaged structure is greater than that to the intact structure. The stiffness contribution of glass panels reduces the effect of the damages on the structural displacement and the cable tension force, but the glass panel could break if its stiffness contribution is too large.
