TL;DR: In this paper, a disk loading device is designed to reproduce a plurality of disks by switching a power transmission to drive gears by tooth omission gears of a control gear so that angular movement of disk playing portion, as well as movement of a tray base in a non-reproducing position and a reproducing position of the disk played portion, can be effected by a single motor.
Abstract: This disk loading device is capable of reproducing a plurality of disks. A power transmission to drive gears is switched by tooth omission gears of a control gear so that angular movement of a disk playing portion, as well as movement of a tray base in a non-reproducing position and a reproducing position of the disk playing portion, can be effected by a single motor. A close lock gear, which prevents movement of the tray base in a disk reception stop positions, limits position of the drive gears. With this arrangement, when each tooth omission gear of the control gear enters the teeth of the corresponding drive gear, the interference of the teeth is eliminated. With this construction, the number of component parts such as a drive motor is reduced, thereby achieving a compact design and a stable operation.

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple configuration using a single motor was proposed to enable loading and unloading due to the other disk drive without applying an oscillation to a disk drive during playing.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable loading due to the other disk drive without applying an oscillation to a disk drive during playing with simple configuration by operating a first or second disk drive according to the rotation direction of a disk loading motor. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 12 for disk loading is rotated in one direction, a first cam 14 is rotated through a first one-way clutch and a first disk drive 5 ascends to perform the loading and unloading of a disk 2 without applying the oscillation to a second disk drive 6 during playing. Similarly, when the motor 12 is rotated in the opposite direction, the loading and unloading due to the rise and fall of the drive 6 is performed without applying the oscillation to the drive 5 during playing. With the simple configuration using this single motor, the loading and unloading due to the other disk drive is performed without applying the oscillation to the disk drive during playing.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a disk loading device in which the configuration of a disk device is relatively simple, and the miniaturization is possible; especially, especially a dimension of the depth can be made small, to enable to easily recognize an operation of selection of the disk and a taking-out operation, even in the case of the minaturization and to provide the disk loading devices which can easily return at the initial reset time.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a disk loading device in which the configuration of a disk device is relatively simple, and the miniaturization is possible; especially a dimension of the depth can be made small, to enable to easily recognize an operation of selection of the disk and a taking-out operation, even in the case of the miniaturization and to provide the disk loading device which can easily return at the initial reset time. CONSTITUTION:A neutral position at this side of a magazine is made as a standby position and a clamping part is inserted into the magazine inside and the disk is drawn out of the magazine up to the standby position of the clamping part, and the existence of the disk is recognized by a disk detection sensor, thus a movement to the next operation can be carried out smoothly. Also the state of a position detection switch is detected at an applying time of a power source, and the clamped part is transferred until the detection different from the present state is obtained and the transfer of the clamped part is stopped at a position at which the detection state is switched, thus the device is made to a neutral state.

TL;DR: In this article, a disk loading device enabling to continuously reproduce by instantaneously switching plural sheets of disks is presented, where a spindle shaft 3 reducing stepwise the outer diameters from the lower parts successively is concentrically fixed to a drive shaft 2 of a spindles motor and the disks 7 being different from the inner diameters of fixing holes 8 are separately attached to each stage of the spindling shaft 3 and are held with clews 6.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed to improve reliability and operability by deciding the abnormal state and attaining an appropriate ejecting operation by the combination of each detected result of a provided medium detecting switch and a position detecting switch for disk loading/unloading mechanism.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve reliability and operability by deciding the abnormal state and attaining an appropriate ejecting operation by the combination of each detected result of a provided medium detecting switch and a position detecting switch for disk loading/unloading mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The medium detecting switch 8 and the position detecting switch 10 for the disk loading/unloading mechanism are provided in a flexible disk device having an automatic medium ejecting function, and the medium 1 and the position of loading/unloading mechanism 6 are detected respectively by the pushing down operations of detection rods 12, 11. When it is detected that the loading/unloading mechanism 6 is at the position in the cartridge loaded state while leaving the medium 1 undetected, the state is decided as abnormal, then the ejecting operation of the loading/unloading mechanism 6 is automatically executed by an electrical circuit. By this procedure, the loading/unloading mechanism is ejected when the abnormal state is generated, and the reliability of the device is improved.

TL;DR: In this paper, a disk detection means S is arranged at a position corresponding to the outer peripheral part of the disk D held by the mechanism 3 and between the port 2 and mechanism 3.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily take out a recording medium having a smaller diameter than a discoid recording medium to be loaded from a device main body in the case it is inserted through a loading/unloading port. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with the disk loading/unloading port 2, a chucking mechanism 3, a disk transfer mechanism 9, and a disk detection means S which is arranged at a position corresponding to the outer peripheral part of the disk D held by the mechanism 3 and between the port 2 and the mechanism 3. When the disk D is detected by the means S in the case the disk D is not held by the mechanism 3, the disk is transferred. When the disk D is operated to be ejected in the case the disk D is not detected by the means S, the disk D is ejected.

TL;DR: In this paper, an automatic loading disk player which has a smaller total player size by eliminating spare space within the player housing and has a better operability when loading a disk to be played is presented.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an automatic loading disk player which has a smaller total player size by eliminating spare space within the player housing and has a better operability when loading a disk to be played. CONSTITUTION:A turn table 1 is fixed against a player housing 4, a pickup 3 is installed on a movable support member 11 which supports a disk clamp pressing member 15 and makes it attachable and detachable to the turn table 1 and a ceutering member 43 is provided to make ceutering of the disk on the pressing member. Thus, the space for a disk loading and the space to be provided in the player housing for disk clamping is made small and a smaller sized player is realized. Furthermore, the operability is improved because the operator is visually confirming the label of the disk while he is loading the disk onto the disk carring mechanism.
