TL;DR: In this paper, a resource recovery model (RRM) for end-of-life electronic waste is presented. This model was designed to provide economic benefits while reducing an organization's environmental liability.
Abstract: The focus of this paper was to construct a resource recovery model (RRM) for end-of-life electronic waste. Changing technologies produce changes in waste stream products. The avoidance, recovery and recyclability of this waste is determined not only by its physical characteristics, but by government regulation and business profitability. This model was designed to provide economic benefits while reducing an organization's environmental liability.
