Abstract: The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for external application consisting of oxybuprocaine, ethyl salicylate, 2-tetrahydropyranylmethyl nicotinate, eucalyptus oil and conventional pharmacologically acceptable vehicles, auxiliaries and/or additives. The pharmaceutical composition is outstandingly suitable for the treatment of skin diseases, especially psoriasis.

Abstract: An eucalyptol (cineole) is extracted from the substandard goods of eucalyptus oil (the so called dead eucalyptus"). The product can be applied as additive of medicines and flavours. The extractant is a mixture of 65% sulfuric acid and 85% phosphric acid in a definite ratio (v/v). It is again admixed in a definite ratio (v/v) with the dead eucalyptus". The extraction is performed twice at controlled temp., obtaining a 80-85% concentrate eucalyptus. The overall yield is no less than 20%.
