Abstract: This study processes the impact of moral guidance in achieving goals at different levels, whatever those goals are, there are rules and laws that do not change, and do not transform. If they are followed, the goals are achieved, if they are left, any work will fail. The impact of guidance and moral support exercised by the leader, manager, or supervisor on work with the worker, employee, or executive authority, whatever it is, is one of those laws. This study will present a model to be followed in this administrative part, which is the method of the Prophet, in moral guidance. This will be done by an analytical approach to some of the hadiths of the Prophet, and a statement of their relationship to the basics and theories of modern management. The study aims to: Introducing Muslims to the approach of the Prophet, in one of the aspects of management Being guided by the Prophet’s guidance in a purely administrative aspect The scientific rooting of the fields of moral guidance from a religious and heritage side and the statement of its relationship with modern administrative sciences It is a theoretical study that will provide the following results: Introducing Muslims to the approach of the Prophet, in one of the aspects of management Serving researchers and the scientific library by studying an aspect of the Islamic heritage Obtaining methods and ideas in the field of leadership moral guidance and linking it to contemporary administrative sciences. Moreover, in active learning activities conducted with tangible objects, students are physically engaged in the lessons, and are given a fun way to practice their math skills, which contributes with retention and positive feeling.

Abstract: Abstract This chapter summarizes suggestions from the professors who contributed their online teaching experiences in applied music, music theory, music history/musicology, music appreciation, and music education. Topics include keeping efforts small and simple, allowing sufficient development time, and using the same signature pedagogy used in face-to-face classes but delivering it differently online. It synthesizes the lessons from each field, reprising themes from earlier chapters, including topics related to the Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education and the Community of Inquiry theoretical framework. It explores the idea of online teaching as simply teaching but in a different environment and with different tools. Finally, it offers an action plan for easing into online teaching viewed as an expansion of a professor’s current teaching repertoire with the instructor in the central role of director of learning.

Abstract: Understanding the heterogeneity over spatial locations is an important problem that has been widely studied in many applications such as economics and environmental science. In this paper, we focus on regression models for spatial panel data analysis, where repeated measurements are collected over time at various spatial locations. We propose a novel class of nonparametric priors that combines Markov random field (MRF) with the product partition model (PPM), and show that the resulting prior, called by MRF-PPM, is capable of identifying the latent group structure among the spatial locations while efficiently utilizing the spatial dependence information. We derive a closed-form conditional distribution for the proposed prior and introduce a new way to compute the marginal likelihood that renders efficient Bayesian inference. We further study the theoretical properties of the proposed MRF-PPM prior and show a clustering consistency result for the posterior distribution. We demonstrate the excellent empirical performance of our method via extensive simulation studies and applications to a US precipitation data and a California median household income data study.

Abstract: The research, in its general lines, tends to open an interpretative perspective on the fact that the bitcoin and blockchain (BTC-BC) phenomenon could be defined primarily through the social learning lens, and in that case would be considered a privileged way to investigate humans' behavior related to the emergent innovations, considering voluntariness in information seeking as antecedent of reduced reticence to acceptance. The approach inherent in the analysis proposed should be considered as exploratory and embryonic, but interesting and crucial for a seminal investigation of the field, due to the rapid emergence of the phenomenon object of the study. The main implication of the interpretative paradigm provided on the BTC-BC scene, considering the social learning view, could be found on the managerial side, thanks to the possible indirect knowledge-based strategy, able to shape an informed social context, promoting the future probable and potentially facilitated application of “disruptive” technologies in several work environments.

Abstract: Black carbon (BC) is associated with adverse human health and climate change. Mapping BC spatial distribution imperatively requires low-cost and portable devices. Several portable BC monitors are commercially available, but their accuracy and reliability are not always satisfactory during continuous field observation. This study evaluated three models of portable black carbon monitors, C12, MA350 and DST, and investigates the factors that affect their performance. The monitors were tested in urban Beijing, where portable devices running for one month alongside a regular-size reference aethalometer AE33. The study considers several factors that could influence the monitors' performance, including ambient weather, aerosol composition, loading artifacts, and built-in algorithms. The results show that MA350 and DST present considerable discrepancies to the reference instrument, mainly occurring at lower concentrations (0–500 ng/m3) and higher concentrations (2,500–8,000 ng/m3), respectively. These discrepancies were likely caused by the anomalous noise of MA350 and the loading artifacts of DST. The study also suggests that the ambient environment has limited influence on the monitors' performance, but loading artifacts and accompanying compensation algorithms can result in unrealistic data. Based on the evaluation, the study suggests that C12 is the best choice for unsupervised field measurement, DST should be used in scenarios where frequent maintenance is available, and MA350 is suitable for research purposes with post-processing applicable. The study highlights the importance of assigning portable BC monitors to appropriate applications and the need for optimized real-time compensation algorithms.
