Abstract: This paper examines the post-World War II trends in interaction patterns between Israel and the Arab countries. Types of interaction examined include diplomatic pat terns, membership in international organizations, trade and scheduled flights. The current pattern is compared with policy statements from both sides about primary and secondary boycotts and with ideal 'models' of boycott and non-boycott interaction patterns. Finally, an attempt is made to single out specific countries which might serve as intermediaries in terms of their location in the interaction network.
