TL;DR: In this paper, an alga-killing decomposing degergent capable of destroying alga, making cycle of regeneration long, decomposing easily carcasses of destroyed alga and cleaning and discharging easily them by flow, obtained by blending a boron compound such as boric acid, etc as a main component with hydrogen peroxide.
Abstract: PURPOSE:An alga-killing decomposing degergent capable of destroying alga, making cycle of their regeneration long, decomposing easily carcasses of destroyed alga, cleaning and discharging easily them by flow, obtained by blending a boron compound such as boric acid, etc as a main component with hydrogen peroxide CONSTITUTION:A boron compound such as boric acid, sodium perborate, zinc borate, potassium borate, magnesium borate as a main component is blended with a peroxide such as hydrogen peroxide, magnesium peroxide, sodium peroxide, or barium peroxide, to give an alga-killing decomposing detergent showing excellent effect on decomposing action on alga besides killing action on alga The concentration and blending ratio of the composition solution is controlled depending upon the size of water tank and state of attachment and occurrence of alga of waste water cooler

TL;DR: In this paper, a material composed mainly of a peroxide and an organic acid and generating oxygen by the reaction with water, is packaged with a packaging material composed partly of a water-permeable sheet material containing an anion exchange resin, and partly of water-impermeability material as the rest part thereof.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an oxygen-generating material suitable for aquarium, at a low cost, by packaging an oxygen-generating material composed mainly of a peroxide and an organic acid with a packaging material composed of a water- permeable sheet containing an anion exchange resin as a part thereof and a water-impermeable material as the rest part thereof. CONSTITUTION:A material composed mainly of a peroxide and an organic acid and generating oxygen by the reaction with water, is packaged with a packaging material composed partly of a water-permeable sheet material containing an anion exchange resin, and partly of a water-impermeable material as the rest part thereof. The peroxide reacting with water to generate oxygen is magnesium peroxide, etc., and the organic acid is e.g. citric acid. The anion exchange resin is preferably a weakly basic styrene-based resin. The peroxide reacts with water to generate oxygen, while the dissolution of the organic acid in water is inhibited by the anion exchange resin. Accordingly, the material is harmless to fish.
