TL;DR: An apparatus for sorting recyclable materials including an inlet conveyor with a magnetic pulleys that directs magnetic objects out of the flow of recycling materials is described in this paper.
Abstract: An apparatus for sorting recyclable materials including an inlet conveyor with a magnetic pulleys that directs magnetic objects out of the flow of recyclable materials. A vacuum inlet is positioned adjacent a stepped region of the conveyor so as to pull lighter weight materials out of the material flow. A size sorting conveyor separates larger objects from the smaller lighter weight objects, and heavier objects such as glass are conveyed to still another collecting region.

TL;DR: In this paper, a numerical control material flow regulating device for the furnace top of a blast furnace without a bell is presented, where a digital pulse valve is used to replace public known hydraulic system composed of an electromagnetic valve, a hydraulic control one-way valve and a oneway throttle valve.
Abstract: The utility model discloses a numerical control material flow regulating device for the furnace top of a blast furnace without a bell. A digital pulse valve is used to replace public known hydraulic system composed of an electromagnetic valve, a hydraulic control one-way valve and a one-way throttle valve so as to simplify the numerical control material flow regulating device. A material flow regulating valve and the digital pulse valve are provided with a pair of gears which is used as the position feedback device of the digital pulse valve, and the rotation angle of the material flow regulating valve is made to have a linear relation with inputted pulse number so as to make opening control simplified. The numerical control material flow regulating device can exactly control and regulate the opening of the material flow regulating valve, and can realize reasonable distribution with various modes according to the requirements of the operation of the blast furnaces.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider the problem of operational material flow in the manufacturing of chemical products and propose a closed-concept model for the operational material flows based on a closed concept, taking simultanously into consideration interests of production techniques and logistics.
Abstract: Logistics in the manufacture of chemical products. This survery covers the fields of location analysis, organization of operational material flow, and materials management, all of which are interlocked with each other. Logistics problems with location analysis lie in the area of infrastructure, procurement, and distribution. The organization of the operational material flow has to be based on a closed concept, taking simultanously into consideration interests of production techniques and of logistics. Special attention has to be paid to the reciprocal effect of plant and storage capacity. With complex production structures simulation models should be used, including a statistical model of the market demands, systematic variation of material flows, and grouping of technical equipment. Target is a minimization of total cost. For market oriented operation of complex productions, integrated materials management systems have to be employed. The systems supply a transparent material flow starting from the market demands via the control of production up to the procurement of raw materials.

TL;DR: In this paper, an apparatus for dispensing viscous fluid material having one-piece nozzles which produce a supply of drops of fluid material is described, where each nozzle is associated with a pair of screws which penetrate the dispensing bar and selectively restrict the gas flow and the material flow to the associated nozzle.
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing viscous fluid material having one-piece nozzles which produce a supply of drops of fluid material. The nozzles each include a nozzle body having a first end and a dispensing end. A gas flow path through the nozzle body has an array of outlet sections which terminate at the dispensing end of the nozzle body. The inlet section of the gas flow path is a cylindrical bore which feeds a stream of gas to each of the outlet sections. A plurality of viscous fluid material passageways closely surround the outlet sections of the gas flow path. As a stream of material is discharged from each material passageway, the expansion of gas emerging from the gas outlet sections breaks up the flowing material, thereby applying the material in a spray of droplets even though both the gas flow and material flow are continuous. The first ends of nozzles are attached to an elongated dispensing bar of an applicator. The dispensing bar has a first longitudinal bore which is supplied with low pressure viscous fluid material and which is in fluid communication with the material passageways. The dispensing bar also has a second longitudinal bore which is supplied with a gas, preferably air, and which is in fluid communication with the inlet section of the gas flow path. Each nozzle is associated with a pair of screws which penetrate the dispensing bar and selectively restrict the gas flow and the material flow to the associated nozzle.

TL;DR: In this article, a cylindrical hole part communicating with a product cavity is formed in the vicinity of a final arrival part of a material flow for the product cavity 13, and a pressing-in plug 17 is moved backward/forward by fitting the pressing in plug 17 into the hole part 15 and formation/back-filling of material reservoir 18 are performed respectively.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent generation of flashes at the time of injection molding, by a method wherein after formation of a material reservoir in the vicinity of a final arrival part of a material flow for a product cavity, a surplus injection material is introduced to the material reservoir, and vulcanization molding is performed by pushing back the surplus injection material to a product cavity. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical hole part 15 communicating with a product cavity 13 is formed in the vicinity of a final arrival part of a material flow for the product cavity 13, a pressing-in plug 17 is moved backward/forward by fitting the pressing-in plug 17 into the cylindrical hole part 15 and formation/back-filling of a material reservoir 18 are performed respectively. A fill amount of a rubber material into the product cavity 13 is more than the capacity of the product cavity 13, and less than the sum total quantity of the same and the capacity of the material reservoir 18. After completion of casting of the rubber material, a surplus injection material M in the material reservoir 18 is pushed back to the product cavity 13 by moving the pressing-in plug 17 forward and the material reservoir 18 is sealed. Magnitude of pushing-back pressure is lower than injection pressure due to a little return to the side of an injection nozzle 31 of the material within a material flow path, and the rubber material does not enter even if a fine gap is on a parting face of a mold P.L.
