TL;DR: In this article, a transport device with transverse inclination device for transporting heavy loads is described, consisting of a loading bridge or tank-truck bridge which rests with the front and rear region on the faces of a front and Rear chassis by means of in each case one ball bearing slewing ring, the chassis having a plurality of wheel axles and hydraulic cylinders being provided which as a result of pressure being fed in the event of an inclination of the road incline the loading bridge in the opposite direction so that it always remains in the horizontal position.
Abstract: A transport device with transverse inclination device for transporting heavy loads is described, consisting of a loading bridge or tank-truck bridge which rests with the front and rear region on the faces of a front and rear chassis by means of in each case one ball bearing slewing ring, the chassis having a plurality of wheel axles and hydraulic cylinders being provided which as a result of pressure being fed in the event of an inclination of the road incline the loading bridge in the opposite direction so that it always remains in the horizontal position. This is based on the object, in particular in the areas of bends when the chassis are inclined and offset at an angle to the loading bridge, of continuously keeping the loading bridge in a horizontal position in the transverse direction in a constructionally simple manner. For this purpose, there is provision for in each case one transverse oscillating bearing to be provided on the ball bearing slewing ring of the front and rear chassis and for the loading bridge to be arranged in the front and rear region on the transverse oscillating bearing, and for hydraulic cylinders to be arranged at the rear chassis to the left and right of the longitudinal axis of the transverse oscillating bearing, which hydraulic cylinders are supported on the one hand on the ball bearing slewing ring and on the other hand on the loading bridge.

TL;DR: In this paper, a roadway support machine or roadway support apparatus is designed in such a way that they can be pivoted or rotated individually in the horizontal, the support-setting device conveniently having an interchangeable support traverse with a support pocket.
Abstract: A roadway support machine or roadway support apparatus is for the first time also able to completely drive and support roadway curves and branches in the heading. To this end, the working platform and the support-setting device are designed in such a way that they can be pivoted or rotated individually in the horizontal, the support-setting device conveniently having an interchangeable support traverse with a support pocket. Various embodiments are conceivable for the rotating or swivelling capability of the working platform and the support-setting device, where the simplest for the swivelling capability of the support-setting device is that in which an interchangeable support traverse is arranged at the top on the parallel-linkage boom. For the driving of the roadway curves and branches, the support traverse has a perpendicular swivel joint at the end of the cross beam. A supporting arm with the support pocket can be swivelled around the swivel joint. The swivelling capability of the working platform is advantageously effected by a slewing ring with upright slewing cylinder being provided. The slewing ring has a sectional gear rim which in turn meshes with a rack attached to a thrust cylinder. By backward and forward pushing of the thrust cylinder, the sectional gear rim is influenced and turned via the rack in such a way that the working platform moves into the position intended in each case.
