TL;DR: This paper aims to present a methodology to conduct load flow studies of a multi-area power system with constraints on power settings/power limits on the tie lines linking different areas of an Indian power system.
Abstract: This paper aims to present a methodology to conduct load flow studies of a multi-area power system with constraints on power settings/power limits on the tie lines linking different areas. Two algorithms are proposed and implemented on test systems including a typical regional grid of an Indian power system. The results of the studies are reported and analyzed.

TL;DR: In this article, the system equalizes temporary load peaks of the electrical power in the grid to which private and industrial consumers with different time-varying demands are connected, and the current generated by the power stations is fed into the grid and the heat generated by power stations are given up to the heating plant of the consumer.
Abstract: The system equalises temporary load peaks of the electrical power in the grid to which private and industrial consumers with different time-varying demands are connected. Block-type thermal power plants are thermally coupled to the private and industrial consumers by heating plants driven by these consumers, and coupled through a process control unit to the power supply system. The block-type thermal power stations are connected or disconnected through this process control unit in the grid control station. The current generated by the power stations is fed into the grid and the heat generated by the power stations is given up to the heating plant of the consumer.
