TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a 12 x 12 nun shaped plate with a projection width of 0.5 rm (Fig. I) to measure the forces of a load lying freely on a plane with a fixed weight and a certain force load.
Abstract: The specimen 26 in the form of a 12 x 12 nun shaped plate with a projection width of 0.5 rm (Fig. I) was fastened to the elastic beam 18 by holder 14 and the thrust pin 27. The disk indentor 13, vibrating with friction on the test specimen, was clamped to it by the interchangeable plate weights fastened to the sides of the loading device. In the loading assembly are located the piezosensors 8 and 12 recording the vibration parameters of the loading device with the indentor in the horizontal and vertical planes. The vibrations in the transverse direction are kept to a minimum by the guides in the upper portion of the assembly. The abradant interacts with the horizontal specimen according to the principle of a load lying freely on a plane. This simulates the real conditions of contact with a fixed weight and a certain force load. This makes it possible to record the combined vibrations in friction [5] occurring in the vertical (normal to the displacement) plane in relation to the elastic and inertial characteristics of contact. The forced vibrations of the loading device may be transmitted through the specimen to the sensing vibratory system of the tribometer consisting of the two-support elastic beam 18 fastened to the vibration-absorbing base 20 by the screws 19. The presence in the tribometer of the sensing vibratory system made changes necessary in the rigidity of the base, which receives the vibrations of the loading device. It is known [5] that the rigidity of the joint of the rubbing bodies (rigidity of the interacting pair) determines the appearance of the combined normally directed vibrations. With specified parameters of the rigidity of joining and of the interacting werights the vibrations in the horizontal plane excite normal vibrations. These effects must be checked in fretting corrosion in the rubbing pairs, which are a portion of the mechanical systems of friction and vibrations [5]. The taking and recording of information on the vibrations of the mechanical tribosystem and on the character of the contact interaction of the elements of the frictional pair is done in two channels. The first channel records the amplitude and frequency of the assigned microdisplacements. It consists of the transducer 6 sensing the horizontal amplitude of vibrations of the assembly with the indentor, the type VVV-302 eddy-current vibrometer 5, the type
