TL;DR: Two new plant-aphid relationships, previously unknown anywhere in the world, are established for two polyphagous species: Macrosiphum euphorbiae on Galactites tomentosa and Myzus persicae on Thapsia villosa.
Abstract: Five species of aphids are recorded for the first time in Algeria: Aphis hillerislambersi Nieto Nafria & Mier Durante, Hyalopterus amygdali ((E.) Blanchard), Hyalopterus persikonus Miller, Lozier & Foottit, Melanaphis donacis (Passerini) and Uroleucon aeneum (Hille Ris Lambers). The records of A. hillerislambersi, H. persikonus and U. aeneum are also new to the Northern Africa. Two new plant-aphid relationships, previously unknown anywhere in the world, are established for two polyphagous species: Macrosiphum euphorbiae on Galactites tomentosa and Myzus persicae on Thapsia villosa. 28 plant-aphid relationships are also recorded for the first time in Algeria.

Abstract: This study aimed to find out aphid species belongs to Subfamily Aphidinae (Homoptera: Aphididae) infesting herbaceous plants and shrubs in different locations of Iraq through a survey during 2008-2010. As a result, total of 56 aphid species belonging to 24 genera and two tribes were determined. Of these determined species. Four genera: Aphidura Hille Ris Lambers, Coloradoa Wilson, Nasonovia Mordvilko, Paczoskia Mordvilko and twenty one species were new records for Iraqi aphid fauna. These new records include: ,A. balloticola Szelegiewicz, A. chloris Koch, A.davletshinae Hille Ris Lambers, A. dlabolai Holman, A. hederae Kaltenbach, A. myrsinitidis Petrovic and Leclant, A. passeriniana (del Guercio), A. salvia Walker, A. symphyti Schrank, A. terricola Rondani, Brachyunguis lycii (Nevsky), B. zygophylli (Nevsky), Coloradoa rufomaculata (Wilson), Acyrthosiphon kondoi Shinji, A. lactuca (Passerini) , Macrosiphoniella papillata Holman, M. tuberculata (Nevsky), Nasonovia ribisnigri (Mosley), Paczoskia meridionalis Holman, Uroleucon chondrillae (Nevsy). A list of host plants and their aphids is presented in this study.

TL;DR: This is the first report of Uroleucon (Uromelan) adenophorae (Matsumura, 1918) occurring on Adenophora triphylla (Campanulaceae) in Gangwon-do, South Korea.
Abstract: Until now, five species of the subgenus Uroleucon (Uromelan) have been recognized in Korea. This is the first report of Uroleucon (Uromelan) adenophorae (Matsumura, 1918) occurring on Adenophora triphylla (Campanulaceae) in Gangwon-do, South Korea. Host plants are reviewed and an identification key to species is presented for six Uroleucon (Uromelan) species from the Korean Peninsula.

TL;DR: The paper presents the first description of alate morph of Uroleucon leontodontis – an aphid species new to Poland – and their resemblance to the closely related representatives of this genus is discussed.
Abstract: The paper presents the first description of alate morph of Uroleucon leontodontis (Hille Ris lambeRs, 1939) – an aphid species new to Poland. The morphological features of the described alate females are provided and their resemblance to the closely related representatives of this genus is discussed.
