Abstract: A modular independent coil spring suspension for steerable and non-steerable wheel assemblies and driven and non-driven axles. The suspension is of the general type in which each wheel has an upper and a lower control arm, and a single coil spring secured between the lower of the two control arms and the chassis. The upper and lower control arms each have inner ends split into two segments, each of which is connected to the vehicle frame by a special bushing assembly. The suspension has a novel upper control arm which is split into two segments, each segment being bent to accommodate an edge of the frame of the vehicle, thereby allowing the frame of the vehicle to be mounted lower with respect to the wheel assemblies.

Vertical motion of a vehicle wheel (120) places a force on the vehicle frame (126) which, in turn, places a force on the vehicle body (124). The secondary suspension system (114) translates the relative motion between the wheel (120) and frame (126) into a force on the vehicle body (124) which is equal and opposite to the force transmitted from the frame (126) to the body (124). A frictional shock absorber (300) is utilized in the suspension system (110) as well as a multi-stage coil spring (400).

Abstract: The trench digger has a tracked vehicle (1) with a chassis (2) and a frame (4) supporting an engine and a cab. A digging unit (5) is towed by the vehicle and connected to it by a coupling system (6). The vehicle has an alignment mechanism (8) which turns the vehicle frame to one side if the digger unit moves to one side of the vehicle. The alignment mechanism maintains the centre of gravity of the vehicle in line with its lengthwise median plane. The alignment mechanism has a toothed wheel (9) meshing with the pinion (11) of a reduction gear unit. A second pivoting member (13) is situated between the chassis and frame to turn the frame relative to the chassis. The second pivoting mechanism incorporates a crown wheel linked to the frame and chassis through bearings and operated by power cylinders.

Abstract: The frame has two part profiles (5a,5b). One (5a) can be fitted on top of the vehicle's main frame (1) and the other (5b) under. Both parts, with the aid of extending and overlapping tabs (8,10,12,17), can screw to one another and between them leave free recesses (18) for cross bearers (3) on the vehicle frame. The upper part is preferably formed from a hollow profile (6) and the lower from bearers (9) of L- or T-shaped cross-section. The tabs may be joined to one another by screws (11) and run within the vehicle main frame.

A manipulator handle provided with a start button, a rocking arm for throttle control, a horn button, the push-button switch of a car lamp, the push-button switch of the conversion of far and near light lamps and the switch of a turn lamp is adopted to control the ultra-mini automobile to turn, brake and accelerate to finish all drive and operation actions. A hoist trunk hydraulic cylinder is positioned on a main vehicle frame, and frames of the upper and lower layer vehicles are positioned on the vehicle body. A front pillar is equipped on the upper layer vehicle, and a damping spring and an air buffer are fixed beneath a lower camber beam of a front sedan. The lower layer and upper layer of the vehicle body are evenly equipped with longitudinal frames, and rear vehicle frame is higher than the main vehicle frame, so that the installation of the buffer frame and rear wheels is convenient. The path of the back door is against the back row seats on a steel plate, steps are arranged at the bottom of a vehicle door, and pillars are positioned at both sides of staircases.
