TL;DR: In this paper, a transmitter and a receiver are provided with a transmission circuit T, a reception circuit R, and a CPU8 performing the control operations such as forming of transmission and reception signals and channel discrimination respectively.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain the entire cost-down, by using a required oscillator in common for a transmission and a reception circuit. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter and a receiver are provided with a transmission circuit T, a reception circuit R, and a CPU8 performing the control operations such as forming of transmission and reception signals and channel discrimination respectively. The CPU8 discriminates the receiver 2, then the corresponding transmitter 1 obtains carrier frequency 0.455MHz as the output of an oscillator 17. Thus, the transmission and reception of signals are carried out between the transmitter and receiver 1, 2. Through the program operation of the CPU8, the operation of the reception circuit R at normal operation is done intermittently to save the power consumption.

TL;DR: A wireless telephone has a tape recorder for taking a memo from the caller by using a remote controller without going to the main telephone personally.
Abstract: A wireless telephone has a tape recorder for taking a memo from the caller. When the receiver is far from the main telephone, the user operates the recorder by using a remote controller without going to the main telephone personally. The remote controller consists of a FM rectifier (6), a buffer (7), a decoder (21), an encoder (22), tone decoders (17-19), LEDs, and an adder (13). The controller for recorder consists of a FM detector (34), a tone trap (35), a tone decoders (44-46), a decoder (48), tone oscillators (50-52), and an adder (40).

TL;DR: In this article, a portable unit for use, inter alia, in conjunction with monetary transactions in the same way as an ordinary account card is described. But the portable unit is provided with a keypad or the like, and can also be provided with presentation element 17, such as a LCD display, which greatly reduces the risk of vandalism and also increases the reliability of service of the installation as a whole.
Abstract: The invention concerns a portable unit for use, inter alia, in conjunction with monetary transactions in the same way as an ordinary account card. When carrying out a transaction, the unit 10 is made to interact with a terminal 14, which in turn can be connected to one or more central account-keeping units. The portable unit is provided with a keypad or the like 11 and can also be provided with a presentation element 17, such as a LCD display. When using the unit, it is placed in direct proximity to a terminal 14, and a connection element 12 located on the unit maintains wireless communication with the terminal. This makes it possible for the terminal to do without both keypad and display, which greatly reduces the risk of vandalism and also increases the reliability of service of the installation as a whole. Preferably, the portable unit is also provided with a memory 15 and a co-ordinated control circuit 16. It is possible to expand the unit in simple fashion so that it also has calculator and clock functions, for example.

Abstract: A wireless extension telephone system including a base unit connected to a telephone line and a remote extension unit. Both base and remote units each include a radio receiver and a radio transmitter. Also included in the remote unit is a modulator connected to said remote unit radio transmitter and circuitry limiting the amplitude of the modulated signals produced by said transmitter. A dialing circuit connected to said modulator causes the amplitude of each outgoing dial pulse to be transmitted at a level substantially higher than when no dial pulses are present.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable all time pieces to indicate the same time perfectly by arranging a transmission system for converting the counting of a time into a radio wave at a time announcing station and a receiving system for indicating the time. CONSTITUTION:A transmission system is composed to convert the counting of a time into a radio wave (other means of transmitting signals through space) at a time announcing station where the local time continues ticking. The transmission system is so arranged to transmit the radio wave throughout the country. For example, in the radio wave, a frequency range made uniform throghout the country is secured including partial utilization of frequency other than that currently used for TV, radio, wireless and other systems. Then, a receiving system (time piece) is arranged to incorporate a receiving function by a mercury (solar) battery and a function for converting radio waves into a mechanical or digital indication. This also has a function of acting as a time piece with an ordinary accuracy in an area unable to receive radio waves.
