Iron-Substituted Dawson-Type Tungstodiphosphates: Synthesis, Characterization, and Single or Multiple Initial Electronation Due to the Substituent Nature or Position

TL;DR: In this paper, the acid-base equilibria were studied for the iron-substituted complexes and the results showed that the influence of the location of the iron filled site in the framework is strong in the α1 isomer and makes its electrochemistry clearly different from that of the α2 isomer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient conversion of NO into N2O by selected electroreduced heteropolyanions

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that a series of one-and two-electron-reduced heteropolyanions of the Keggin- and Dawson-types convert quantitatively NO into N2O in acidic aqueous media.
Journal ArticleDOI

Substituent effect in the electrochemistry of Dawson-type tungstodiphosphates: Some strategic parameters for apparently multiple electronation on the first wave of heteropolyanions

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of the position of the vacant W site in the tungsten framework on the first wave of heteropolyanions was investigated and the results showed that the effect is strong in α 1 but hardly exists in α 2 substituted derivatives.
Journal ArticleDOI

Oxometalate-clay-modified electrodes: synthesis and properties of anionic clays pillared by metatungstate☆

TL;DR: In this paper, three anion-pillared hydrotalcite clays or layered double hydroxides, have been prepared corresponding to the general formula Zn 2 Al(X)· m H 2 O, where XCl −, NO 3 −, or terephthalate dianion (TA).
