Journal ArticleDOI
State of manganese in the photosynthetic apparatus. 1. Extended x-ray absorption fine structure studies on chloroplasts and di-.mu.-oxo-bridged dimanganese model compounds
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The findings indicate that transvenous coronary angiograms can be acquired in this manner and further refinements in the x-ray imaging system are expected to result in increased x-rays fluence and improved image quality.
Journal ArticleDOI
X-ray microprobe using multilayer mirrors
TL;DR: In this article, the design considerations for an X-ray microprobe, and summarizes experience with prototypes tested at both SSRL and NSLS, are discussed. But the performance of the proposed system is limited by optical aberrations and other factors.
Journal Article
THE STATE OF MANGANESE IN THE PHOTOSYNTHETIC APPARATUS. I. EXAFS STUDIES ON CHLOROPLASTS AND di-u-oxo BRIDGED di-MANGANESE MODEL COMPOUNDS
TL;DR: In this article, the manganese associated with photosynthetic oxygen evolution is suggested to occur as a bridged transition metal dimer with most likely another manganizer, and extensive details on the analysis are included.
Journal ArticleDOI
Computed tomography using synchrotron radiation
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used synchrotron X-ray computed tomography (CT) images of an excised pig heart to study the properties of an iodinated medium.
