Magnetic properties of a new metal-ferrite composite

TL;DR: The magnetic properties of a new metal-ferrite composite, (Fe 0.2 Co 0.8 ) 0.62 O 4, are described in this article, which is made up of grains 0.1-0.5μm in size, and characterized by h c =2300 Oe and σ s =90 A m 2 /kg at room temperature, even after storage for one year in air.

Syncrystallization of CoFe2O4 from ferric and cobaltous chlorides: Physical properties of the precipitate

TL;DR: The precipitate CoFe 2 O 4 obtained from cobaltous and ferric chlorides and potassium hydroxide is a well-crystallized spinel phase, indicating that the term "coprecipitation" is not suitable for describing this synthesis as mentioned in this paper.

Thermal Stability of a Metal Alloy—Spinel Ferrite Composite Prepared by Disproportionation in a Liquid Medium

TL;DR: An original method for obtaining a composite made up of cobalt-iron alloy and cobalt doped magnetite is described, based on a disproportionation reaction in a liquid medium at 110°C, that is characterized by a saturation magnetization of 90 emu/g and a coercive field of 1700 Oe.
