Enhanced CO 2 capture in nitrogen-enriched microporous carbons derived from Polybenzoxazines containing azobenzene and carboxylic acid units
Mohamed Gamal Mohamed,Mohamed Gamal Mohamed,Shymaa Mostafa Ebrahium,A. S. Hammam,Shiao-Wei Kuo,Shiao-Wei Kuo,Kamal I. Aly +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of nitrogen-doped microporous carbons from polybenzoxazine (PBZ) resins containing azobenzene and COOH groups was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Arylidene Polymers IV. Synthesis, Characterization and Morphology of New Polyesters of Diarylidenecyclohexanone:
TL;DR: In this article, the intefacial polycondensation of 2,6-bis(4-hydroxy-3methoxybenzylidene)- cyclohexanone with 4,4'-diphenic, isophthalolyl, terephthaloyl, adipoyl and sebacoyl dichlorides have been produced.
Journal ArticleDOI
Liquid crystalline polymers
Kamal I. Aly,A. S. Hammam +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of poly(arylidene-ether) containing cyclopentanone was synthesized by polycondensation of 4,4′-diformyl-α,ω-diphenoxyalkane 1 − 4 and 4, 4′-Diformyl 2,2′-dimethoxy-α and OðDiphenoxalkane 5 − 8 with cyclopenone, and the inherent viscosity of the polymers were in the range of 0.38-1.23 dl/g.
Journal ArticleDOI
Arylidene polymers. II, Synthesis and characterization of some new polyesters of diarylidenecyclopentanone
TL;DR: In this article, interfacial polycondensation of 2,5-bis(4-hydrox-ybenzylidene)cyclopentanone (I) with 4,47prime;-diphenic, isophthaloyl, terephthaloyl and adi-poyl were obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI
Arylidene Polymers VII. Synthesis and Characterization of New Polyesters of Diarylidenecycloalkanones Containing an Azo Group in the Main Chain
TL;DR: In this article, a new class of linear, unsaturated polyesters based on diarylidenecycloalkanones containing an azo linkage in the polymer main chain have been synthesized by interfacial polycondensation of 4,4′-azodibenzoyl chloride or 3,3′-zoda-bensylidene chloride.
