Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of silicate doping on the structure and mechanical properties of thin nanostructured RF magnetron sputter-deposited hydroxyapatite films
Maria A. Surmeneva,T.M. Mukhametkaliyev,Alexander I. Tyurin,Anton D. Teresov,Nikolay N. Koval,T. S. Pirozhkova,I.A. Shuvarin,A. V. Shuklinov,Andrey O. Zhigachev,Christian Oehr,Roman A. Surmenev,Roman A. Surmenev +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of Si doping on the structure and mechanical properties of thin HA films was evaluated using nanohardness testing and a scratch test, and the results showed that the addition of Si would affect the mechanical features of the coatings due to microstructure changes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Micro- and nano-indentation approach to strength and deformation characteristics of minerals
S. D. Viktorov,Yu. I. Golovin,A. N. Kochanov,Alexander I. Tyurin,A. V. Shuklinov,I.A. Shuvarin,T. S. Pirozhkova +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors highlight the use perspectiveness of the described method in estimating strength and deformation characteristics of rocks and highlight the importance of perspective in estimating deformation and failure of rocks.
Journal ArticleDOI
New Approaches to Nanotheranostics: Polyfunctional Magnetic Nanoparticles Activated by Non-Heating Low-Frequency Magnetic Field Control Biochemical System with Molecular Locality and Selectivity
Yu. I. Golovin,Yu. I. Golovin,Yu. I. Golovin,Natalia L. Klyachko,Natalia L. Klyachko,Alexander G. Majouga,Alexander G. Majouga,Alexander G. Majouga,S. L. Gribanovskii,D. Yu. Golovin,A. O. Zhigachev,A. V. Shuklinov,M. V. Efremova,M. V. Efremova,M. M. Veselov,K. Yu. Vlasova,Azizbek D. Usvaliev,I. M. Le-Deygen,Alexander V. Kabanov,Alexander V. Kabanov +19 more
TL;DR: In this article, a novel approach to magnetic nanotheranostics based on the activation of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) with a nonheating low-frequency magnetic field has been described.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Size Effects in Hardness of Polycrystalline Niobium
Yu. I. Golovin,M. G. Isaenkova,O. A. Krymskaya,V. M. Vasyukov,R. A. Stolyarov,A. V. Shuklinov,L. E. Polyakov +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a relationship between the material hardness and the indenter mark dimensions is established in a broad range of indentation depths (20 nm-70 μm). But the authors did not consider the hardness of polycrystalline niobium.
Journal ArticleDOI
The influence of low-intensity beta radiation on crack susceptibility under indentation of silicon
TL;DR: In this paper, the dependence of the lengths of radial cracks formed during indentation of silicon single crystals on the depth of imprint has been studied using electron microscopy, and the influence of low-intensity (I = 105 cm−2 s−1) beta radiation on the crack susceptibility during indenter penetration to a depth of ∼2.5 μm has been revealed.
