Phase Decomposition in Polymers

TL;DR: In this article, the random-phase approximation (RPA) method was used to obtain the free energy of mixing of flexible polymers, which is a mean-field description of the mixing of polymers.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Study of Nonlinear Reactor Dynamics

TL;DR: In this article, the question of nonlinear stability of stationary reactor systems is investigated by two methods, one analytic and one non-analytical, and the first method is analytic and sets the theory of non-linear stability on a firm mathematical base.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interdiffusion in dilute polymer mixtures. A subtle concentration effect

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of the addition of a third component even at tracer concentrations on the diffusion dynamics was investigated both experimentally and theoretically in the framework of the dynamic random phase approximation.
Book ChapterDOI

Interdiffusion in polymer mixtures

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the two exponential modes in the dynamic scattering intensity obtained by scattering experiments from ternary polymer mixtures cannot be identified with the interdiffusion and cooperative diffusion processes, contrary to recent suggestions in the literature.
