The intra-tier interference in heterogeneous networks becomes more serious when the number of macro-femto cells dramatically increases. Based on the singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm, this paper proposes an optimized interference alignment (IA) algorithm to improve the macro-femto cell downlink rate. To achieve the largest degrees of freedom (DOF), we adopt the precoding matrix as a powerful tool to mitigate the effect of inter- channel interference (ICI). In comparison with the conventional interference coordination methods, the SVD algorithm is capable of adjusting the coefficients of the precoding matrix with lower complexity. Furthermore, zero-forcing algorithm is also used to combat ICI in this proposed IA algorithm. The numerical results show that ICI can be suppressed effectively and the system performance in terms of throughput and signal-to-interference- plus-noise ratio (SINR) can be improved considerably.

A SVD-Based Optimum Algorithm Research for Macro-Femto Cell Interference Coordination

Macro network alone cannot support the ever growing demand of the bandwidth hungry applications for the indoor users. Without any assistance, Macro network poses serious concerns for maintaining a good quality of service. Therefore, femtocells provide an attractive solution for meeting capacity requirements of the network. The access control mechanisms of the femtocell plays a crucial role in mitigating cross-tier interference and avoiding additional handover attempts. In this paper, we propose an utility gain framework to permit to the wireless service provider to encourage femto holders located within its coverage to share their resources with macro users. We suppose that femtocells adopt the hybrid access mode. Consequently, each femtocell will reserve a fraction of resource to macro users and will get a gain from the wireless service provider. Our goal is to improve the overall performance and to promote the hybrid access mode. For this, we model the system as a game, we prove the existence of Nash equilibrium and we propose two learning algorithms for the femto holders and the wireless service providers to choose the best strategy allowing them to reach a win-win situation. Numerical results show that both wireless service provider and femto holders benefit from the proposed learning gain mechanism to improve their utilities.

Learning gain mechanism to promote the femtocells hybrid access mode

The aim of this work is to discriminate various milk samples using Linear Discrimination Analysis (LDA) detection technique of pure milk, pure milk adulterated with urea, tap water etc. by forming samples phase data into matrix form at different frequencies in Constant phase (property of electrode-electrolyte interface of Polymer coated copper probe dipped in ionic solution) region as well as data taken at different time. Euclidean distance from any unknown sample with the given known samples has been calculated using LDA algorithm and the sample with shortest distance will show the best maximal characteristics of the unknown sample. The whole calculation and discrimination plotting has been done in MATLAB software.

Discrimination of various Milk adulterated sample using Linear Discrimination Analysis(LDA)

The tremendous growth of mobile multimedia applications leads to increased traffic as well as energy consumption in cellular mobile communications. Hence, further improvements in resource allocation are essential. Wireless communication systems are aimed at providing higher capacity, improved, and continuous connectivity and minimizing energy consumption to support data-intensive multimedia applications. The main contribution of this paper is toward the maximization of the spectrum and power efficiencies of such networks through intelligent Q-learning-based control algorithms in the Downlink. The model in this paper considers a two-tier HetNet with Cognitive Open Access femtocell, which is designed using stochastic geometry tool. Furthermore, we analyzed and evaluated the Rate Coverage performance for macrocell and femtocell users over the Rayleigh Fading environment in the Downlink. The MonteCarlo simulations results that have been obtained and validated showed that the proposed method achieved an increased overall capacity while guaranteeing the primary user service level. Moreover, Rate Coverage signifies the user population meeting their target threshold. These factors cumulatively enhanced the overall network capacity.

Dynamic resource allocation and rate coverage analysis of two-tier HetNet with cognitive femtocell

In this paper, Modified-Dynamic Resource Allocation Management Algorithm is implemented in macrocell network. Previously, the algorithm was developed for heterogeneous network with both smallcell and macrocell network. The increasing number of network nodes in wireless cellular communication has increased the demand of proper resource allocation in heterogeneous network. Inter-cell interference is still considered as one of the most challenging issues in vast deployment of mobile base stations in urban and sub-urban areas. In LTE and LTE-A network, spectrum sharing and leasing mandated by huge number of base stations (indoor and outdoor) deployed, has an adverse effect on systems throughput and quality of service. Advances in resource management strategies has improved the interference scenarios in vast scale. A modified dynamic resource allocation management algorithm for macrocell network is proposed here to counter the intercell interference. Simulation environment is developed to study the performance of M-DRAMA for the marcoell network. The performance analysis shows that higher number of users get quality coverage at high node density.

Implementation of drama in macrocell network

Inter-cell interference is the most challenging issue in femtocell deployment within the coverage of Macro base station (MBS). In this paper, we have explored the role of femtocell in LTE network and proposed a Dynamic Resource allocation management algorithm (DRAMA) for hybrid access control in spectrum shared OFDMA network to optimize the interference and increase the quality of service (QoS). The user gets the privilege to assign the femtocell service level ensuring a minimum level of QoS. A simulation setting is developed to study the performance of DRAMA in hybrid access control femtocell network and compared it to closed and open access control.
