Enhancing the open circuit voltage of the SnS based heterojunction solar cell using NiO HTL

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of NiO hole transport layer (HTL) on the performance of the proposed SnS-based heterojunction solar cell was explored, and it was found that the cell performance depended on the carrier concentration and thickness of the CeO2 electron transport layer, SnS absorber layer, and NiO HTL, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation on light-addressable potentiometric sensor as a possible cell-semiconductor hybrid

TL;DR: The thickness of PLOL layer, its ability to improve the biological cell adhesion, enhanced sensitivity, and experiment with simulated neural action potential (AP) applied to the novel LAPS show a good promise for LAPS to be a biological cell-semiconductor hybrid.
Journal ArticleDOI

Role of facile synthesized V2O5 as hole transport layer for CdS/CdTe heterojunction solar cell: Validation of simulation using experimental data

TL;DR: In this paper, the role of Vanadium Pentoxide (V2O5) as electron blocking-hole transport layer (EB-HTL) in Cadmium Sulfide (CdS), CdTe and CdAl based heterojunction solar cells using simulation employing experimental data was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

A numerical simulation of high efficiency CdS/CdTe based solar cell using NiO HTL and ZnO TCO

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of NiO HTL and ZnO TCO on the performance of CdS/CdTe based solar cell using SCAPS-1D was investigated.
