A survey of handover management in LTE-based multi-tier femtocell networks
TL;DR: The reader is introduced to the details of the handover procedure: information gathering, decision strategies and the base station exchange process: all these three phases face difficulties in multi-tier networks.
Journal ArticleDOI
An Overview of Current and Future Vehicular Communication Technologies
TL;DR: The present paper provides a technical overview about the most relevant vehicular communication technologies including IEEE 802.11p, IEEE 802.11bd, LTEV2X and NRv2X, which motivate the already started transformation of vehicle industry by enabling basic safety features and more efficient traffic management, as well as cooperative maneuver execution towards high-level automated driving.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Performance analysis of pulse position based chirp spread spectrum technique for multiple access
Adam Knapp,László Pap +1 more
TL;DR: The numerical results show that the Pulse Position based Chirp Spread Spectrum for Multiple Access (PP-CSS-MA) technique is able to provide higher data rates comparing to the original CSS transmission, while only a slight increase of SNR is requied to achieve the same Symbol-Error Rate (SER).
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel mobile communication system using Pulse Position based Chirp Spread Spectrum modulation
Adam Knapp,László Pap +1 more
TL;DR: The paper presents a new mobile communication system based on Chirp Spread Spectrum transmission that is extended with Pulse Position Modulation to carry data for multiple mobile terminals simultaneously and allows higher data rates that is used for the multiple access feature.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Business Scenarios and Data Flow in NeMo Hyper-Network
Zoltán Jakó,Adam Knapp +1 more
TL;DR: The paper introduces the main motivations and goals of NeMo Hyper-Network, and the potential business scenarios identified in NeMo are presented.
