Cembranoids from the Gum Resin of Boswellia carterii as Potential Antiulcerative Colitis Agents
Jin Ren,Yan-Gai Wang,Ai-Guo Wang,Lian-Qiu Wu,Hai-Jing Zhang,Wen-Jie Wang,Ya-Lun Su,Hai-Lin Qin +7 more
TL;DR: Eight new cembranoids, boscartins A-H (1, 2, and 4-9), and the known incensole oxide were isolated from the gum resin of Boswellia carterii and the antiulcerative colitis activities of the compounds were evaluated in an in vitro x-box-binding protein 1 transcriptional activity assay using dual luciferase reporter detection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bioactive carbazole alkaloids from Murraya koenigii (L.) Spreng
TL;DR: Four new carbazole alkaloids (1-4) and fourteen known carbazoles (5-18) were isolated from Murraya koenigii and their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Acute toxicity screening of different extractions, components and constituents of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. on zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos in vivo.
Jianbo Yang,Wan-Fang Li,Yue Liu,Qi Wang,Xian-Long Cheng,Feng Wei,Ai-Guo Wang,Hong-Tao Jin,Shuang-Cheng Ma +8 more
TL;DR: The aim of this study was to study the toxicity of different extractions, components and constituents of P. multiflorum, which were assessed in zebrafish embryos, and found that 70% EtOH extract is considerably higher than that of other extracts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hepatoprotective prenylaromadendrane-type diterpenes from the gum resin of Boswellia carterii.
TL;DR: Nine new prenylaromadendrane-type diterpenes, boscartols A-I (1-9) showed moderate hepatoprotective activity against d-galactosamine-induced HL-7702 cell damage.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hepatoprotective sesquiterpenes and rutinosides from Murraya koenigii (L.) Spreng.
Qinge Ma,Yan-Gai Wang,Wen-Min Liu,Rongrui Wei,Jian-Bo Yang,Ai-Guo Wang,Teng-Fei Ji,Jin Tian,Ya-Lun Su +8 more
TL;DR: Three new sesquiterpenes and two new rutinosides along with 17 known compounds were isolated from the leaves of Murraya koenigii and exhibited moderate hepatoprotective activities.
