Journal ArticleDOI
Compound Copper Chalcogenide Nanocrystals
TL;DR: This review captures the synthesis, assembly, properties, and applications of copper chalcogenide NCs, which have achieved significant research interest in the last decade due to their compositional and structural versatility.
Journal ArticleDOI
Colloidal synthesis of wurtzite Cu2ZnSnS4 nanorods and their perpendicular assembly
TL;DR: A facile solution synthesis of stoichiometric Cu(2)ZnSnS(4) in size-controlled nanorod form (11 nm × 35 nm), which has a band gap of 1.43 eV and can be assembled into perpendicular aligned arrays by controlled evaporation from solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Defect Engineering in Plasmonic Metal Oxide Nanocrystals
Evan L. Runnerstrom,Amy Bergerud,Amy Bergerud,Amy Bergerud,Ankit Agrawal,Robert W. Johns,Robert W. Johns,Clayton J. Dahlman,Ajay Singh,Sverre Magnus Selbach,Delia J. Milliron +10 more
TL;DR: The synthesis and characterization of a novel doped metal oxide nanocrystal material, cerium-doped indium oxide (Ce:In2O3) is reported, which displays tunable mid-infrared LSPR with exceptionally narrow line widths and the highest quality factors observed for nanocrystals in this spectral region.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phase-transition-driven growth of compound semiconductor crystals from ordered metastable nanorods
TL;DR: Following this route, semiconductor films with a large-grained microstructure can be achieved within a few seconds at relatively low temperatures, and opens new possibilities for the fabrication of semiconductor crystals for photoelectric devices with tailored microstructures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Resonant Coupling between Molecular Vibrations and Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance of Faceted Metal Oxide Nanocrystals
Ankit Agrawal,Ajay Singh,Ajay Singh,Sadegh Yazdi,Amita Singh,Gary K. Ong,Gary K. Ong,Karen C. Bustillo,Robert W. Johns,Robert W. Johns,Emilie Ringe,Delia J. Milliron +11 more
TL;DR: The influence of coupling strength and relative detuning between the molecular vibration and LSPR on the enhancement factor is described and the basis of the observed Fano line shape is explained by deconvoluting the combined response of the L SPR and molecular vibration in transmission, absorption and reflection.
