Journal ArticleDOI

Antiferromagnetic long-range order caused by nonmagnetic impurities; magnetization of single-crystal Cu1−xZnxGeO3

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetization was obtained as a function of temperature and magnetic field of a Cu 1− x Zn x GeO 3 single-crystal with x ∼ 0.04.
Journal ArticleDOI

Density of states at Fermi energy and Tc in Bi2Sr2Ca1−xCexCu2O8+y

TL;DR: In this article, the density of states at the Fermi level is suggested to take a maximum value at x=0.05, where the normal-state conductivity also exhibits a maximum.
Book ChapterDOI

Superconductivity in Bi2Sr2Ca1-xCexCu2Oy

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of Ce-ions substitution for Ca ions in the superconducting Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy has been investigated and the resistivity measurement shows that Tc slightly increases first with the substitution and then tends to decrease above x=0.05.
Journal ArticleDOI

Superconductivity and normal-state magnetic properties of Bi2Sr2Ca1-xCexCu2Oy

TL;DR: In this article, the normal-state magnetic susceptivity of Bi 2 Sr 2 Ca 1-x Ce x Cu 2 O y has been studied and the temperature dependent contribution to the susceptivity, which is attributable to the twop-dimensional square lattice Hesenberg antiferromagnet of the CuO 2 plane, is found to scale with two parameters of X 2 D max and T max, by using a function which was found for La 2−x Sr x CuO 4 by D.C.Johnston.
