Boundary-layer transition on swept cylinders at hypersonic speeds
TL;DR: In this article, boundary-layer transition data on swept cylinders in hypersonic flow were obtained in the Hypersonic Ludwieg-tube wind tunnel of DLR and the response of attachment-line transition to surface roughness heights due to trip wires for sweep angles of 45 and 60 deg at M∞ = 5.0 was investigated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Proceedings ArticleDOI
Numerical Analysis on Shock Oscillation of Two-Dimensional External Compression Intakes
TL;DR: In this article, numerical simulations of the supersonic flow through two-dimensional external compression intakes were performed to examine the effect of those parameters on both of the criteria and frequency of the shock oscillation.
