Journal ArticleDOI

Removal of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions, from aqueous solutions, by adsorption onto sawdust of Pinus sylvestris.

TL;DR: It can be concluded that the sawdust of P. sylvestris could be a good adsorbent for the metal ions coming from aqueous solutions and could also be used for purification of water before rejection into the natural environment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of seeded surface area on crystal size distribution in glycine batch cooling crystallization: a seeding methodology

TL;DR: In this article, the optimal conditions for seeding operations in batch cooling crystallization were investigated. But the authors did not consider the effect of the size of the seeds on the crystal size distribution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of Batch Crystallization and Determination of an Alternative Temperature-time Profile by On-line Turbidity Analysis : Application to Glycine Crystallization

TL;DR: In this paper, a spectral turbidimetric method was used to measure crystal size on-line during the cooling crystallization of glycine in water, which is valuable for the supervision of crystal size and crystal size distribution in batch-cooling crystallizers.

Méthodes d''optimisation en chimie analytique

TL;DR: In this article, the methode SIMPLEX is defined as a variable variable (methodes dichotomique sequentielle,du nombre d'or, de Fibonacci).
Journal ArticleDOI

Setup of glycine continuous synthesis by ammonolysis of monochloroacetic acid

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and crystallization of glycine are carried out in a battery of three stirred double-jacketed reactors while temperature and pH values are controlled, and the results of the kinetic study allow one to calculate the residence time in each tank for a desired conversion ratio and are first checked with the setup.
