A. M. Griffin,Phyllis Butow,Alan S. Coates,Annabel Childs,Peter M. Ellis,Stewart M. Dunn,Martin H.N. Tattersall +6 more
TL;DR: A reduction in the severity of some symptoms experienced while receiving chemotherapy and a shift from concerns about physical to psychosocial issues are suggested.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic value of quality-of-life scores during chemotherapy for advanced breast cancer. Australian New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group.
TL;DR: Findings support the validity of the simple QL measures used in the trial, which are compatible with the simple explanation that patients perceive disease progression before it is clinically evident, but also with a causal relationship between QL and survival duration.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: Cessation of menses, even for a limited time period after diagnosis of breast cancer, might be beneficial and should be prospectively investigated, especially in patients with oestrogen receptor-positive primaries.
Journal ArticleDOI
