TL;DR: In this paper, the concentrations of DDT and heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Cu and Hg) in benthic organisms such as oysters, crab and shrimp were determined in six lagoon systems along the Gulf of Mexico: Madre, Tamiahua, Grande, Mandinga, Alvarado and Mecoacan.
