Journal ArticleDOI

Pulmonary Vein Diameter Reduction After Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation Evaluated by Contrast-Enhanced Three-Dimensional Magnetic Resonance Imaging

TL;DR: The occurrence and progression of PV stenosis is a potential significant complication of RFCA in the orifice of pulmonary veins and may have an impact on the technical performance of this intervention.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inappropriate arrhythmia detection in implantable defibrillator therapy due to oversensing of diaphragmatic myopotentials.

TL;DR: Oversensing of diaphragmatic myopotentials was primarily observed in patients implanted with defibrillator leads providing “integrated bipolar” sensing, and the vast majority of nonadequate arrhythmia detection were observed during intrinsic bradycardia heart rate and/or antibrady Cardiac pacing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quercetin-induced induction of the NO/cGMP pathway depends on Ca2+-activated K+ channel-induced hyperpolarization-mediated Ca2+-entry into cultured human endothelial cells.

TL;DR: Increased NO production is responsible for the quercetin-dependent inhibition of endothelial proliferation and improves endothelial dysfunction by increasing NO synthesis involving BK(Ca)-dependent membrane hyperpolarization-induced capacitative Ca 2+ entry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nest temperatures and sex-ratio estimates of loggerhead turtles at Patara beach on the southwestern coast of Turkey

TL;DR: A female-dominated sex ratio was recorded during the nesting period in 2000 and 2001 on Patara beach, which was probably the result of predation of nests far from the sea and the seawater inundations of nests close to the sea.
Journal ArticleDOI

Percutaneous Pulmonary Vein Stenting for the Treatment of Severe Stenosis After Pulmonary Vein Isolation

TL;DR: The aim of this study was the evaluation of the severity and long‐term outcome of primary angioplasty and angiopLasty with pulmonary vein stenting for PVS.
