Journal ArticleDOI
Posturography Comparison and Discriminant Analysis Between Individuals With and Without Chronic Low Back Pain.
Jéssyca Fernandes Nogueira,Aline C. Carrasco,Alexandre Roberto Marcondes Pelegrinelli,Leandro C. Guenka,Mariana Felipe Silva,Laís Faganello Dela Bela,Josilainne Marcelino Dias,Felipe Arruda Moura,Joseph G. McVeigh,Jefferson Rosa Cardoso +9 more
TL;DR: Individuals with chronic LBP had worse postural control performance than matched controls, and it is possible to characterize those with and without LBP with CoP variables.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low back pain affects coordination between the trunk segments but not variability during running
Alexandre Roberto Marcondes Pelegrinelli,Mariana Felipe Silva,Leandro C. Guenka,Aline C. Carrasco,Felipe Arruda Moura,Jefferson Rosa Cardoso +5 more
TL;DR: The model of rigid segments and the coordination analyses were sensitive to detect differences, and the presence of more in-phase patterns could be related to the protection mechanism in order to avoid painful movements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Non-radiographic validity and reliability measures for assessing foot types: A systematic review.
Aline C. Carrasco,Mariana Felipe Silva,Leandro C. Guenka,Carla T. Silva,Felipe Arruda Moura,Jefferson Rosa Cardoso +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic database search was performed to identify which non-radiographic assessment methods are considered valid and/or reliable for the classification of foot types, and the results of reliability and validity, in general, demonstrated high scores, but, inconsistencies were related to the variability of the measurements, heterogeneity of the methods used to determine reliability, and lack of parameters for classifying foot types.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of quality of life in individuals with chronic stroke who underwent aquatic exercises: A case series
Aline C. Carrasco,Mariana Felipe Silva,Laís Faganello Dela Bela,Laís Faganello Dela Bela,Luana Paixão,Alexandre Roberto Marcondes Pelegrinelli,Josilainne Marcelino Dias,Marcio Massao Kawano,Ligia Maria Facci,Jefferson Rosa Cardoso +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated changes in the quality of life after 8-week of aquatic exercises in post-stroke individuals, using the Stroke Impact Scale (SIS).
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of the medial longitudinal arch of the foot in adult women in ankle isokinetic performance: a cross-sectional study.
Leandro C. Guenka,Aline C. Carrasco,Alexandre Roberto Marcondes Pelegrinelli,Mariana Felipe Silva,Laís Faganello Dela Bela,Laís Faganello Dela Bela,Felipe Arruda Moura,Jefferson Rosa Cardoso +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the muscular performance of cavus, planus, and normal feet by means of torque/body mass and the isokinetic phases, to generate 3D surface map analysis.
