All scientific names of Trachypachidae, Rhysodidae, and Carabidae (including cicindelines) recorded from America north of Mexico are catalogued. Available species-group names are listed in their original combinations with the author(s), year of publication, page citation, type locality, location of the name-bearing type, and etymology for many patronymic names. In addition, the reference in which a given species-group name is first synonymized is recorded for invalid taxa. Genus-group names are listed with the author(s), year of publication, page citation, type species with way of fixation, and etymology for most. The reference in which a given genus-group name is first synonymized is recorded for many invalid taxa. Family-group names are listed with the author(s), year of publication, page citation, and type genus. The geographical distribution of all species-group taxa is briefly summarized and their state and province records are indicated.

One new genus-group taxon, Randallius new subgenus (type species: Chlaenius purpuricollis Randall, 1838), one new replacement name, Pterostichus amadeus new name for Pterostichus vexatus Bousquet, 1985, and three changes in precedence, Ellipsoptera rubicunda (Harris, 1911) for Ellipsoptera marutha (Dow, 1911), Badister micans LeConte, 1844 for Badister ocularis Casey, 1920, and Agonum deplanatum Menetries, 1843 for Agonum fallianum (Leng, 1919), are proposed. Five new genus-group synonymies and 65 new species-group synonymies, one new species-group status, and 12 new combinations (see Appendix 5) are established.

“The Direction of the Treatment and the Principles of Its Power” is a paper Lacan wrote in 1958 and published in 1961. It deals with two propositions: (1) “a psychoanalyst directs the treatment [. . .] he must not direct the patient” and (2) the unconscious desire directs the treatment. This direction is at work in every analysis. This paper argues that Freud and Lacan’s views about the outcome of treatment were not so different.

The Direction of the Treatment and the Principles of Its Power

It was done a bibliometric analysis of the multidisciplinary journals of psychology recently incorporated in the Web of Science (WoS) in 2008 and 2009. A total of 448 "articles" and "revisions" was analyzed, where the nationality of the authors, the index of responsibility and the contents of the works were examined. The results show that Psicologia: Reflexao e Critica is the journal that has more published articles. There are differences in the diversity and number of collaborating countries, being the journal Universitas Psychologica the one that has greater representation of authors from different countries from the origin of the journal. There are more individual articles (31.25%), followed by works signed by two (28.57%) and three authors (21.43%), respectively. The majority of articles is classified within the areas of Social Psychology (18.75%), followed by articles of Clinical Psychology (16.74%) and works related to Psychology of Education (11.16%), clarifying that the greater contribution of clinical works comes from the Revista Latinoamericana de Psicopatologia Fundamental (with 40.7% of the total of its publications).

Análisis bibliométrico de las revistas multidisciplinares de psicología recientemente incorporadas en la Web of Science (2008-2009)

O conceito de perversao sempre esteve impregnado pela concepcao da psiquiatria classica de um desvio moral e sexual, e seu estatuto costuma ser mal compreendido na propria psicanalise. A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo a discussao das perversoes no âmbito da psicopatologia psicanalitica. Trata-se de uma pesquisa teorico-conceitual, baseada na revisao bibliografica sistematica da literatura nacional feita atraves de um levantamento no portal da Biblioteca Virtual de Psicologia (BVS-PSI) dos artigos de 10 anos (2003 – 2013) com os descritores psicanalise, perversao e psicopatologia. Chegou-se a um total de vinte e oito artigos, os quais foram resumidos e categorizados, e levados para a sistematizacao, a interpretacao e discussao. Os resultados mostram que na caracterizacao psicopatologica a literatura PSI tende a privilegiar os modelos pos-freudianos da perspectiva lacaniana e da perspectiva das relacoes de objeto. Conclui-se que a literatura atual nao tem avancado em novas propostas de constructos teoricos acerca das perversoes, demonstrando que o modelo da formacao do objeto-fetiche freudiano ainda predomina como parâmetro para o seu entendimento, e que as discussoes psicodinâmicas e estruturais tem diminuido em detrimento de uma abordagem ampliada de critica sociologica e historica sobre a perversao como produto de uma ordem medico-juridica propria da modernidade.

A psicopatologia psicanalítica das perversões na atualidade: uma revisão sistemática

In an interview study with 17 music-creating artists (composers of contemporary ‘classical’ music, electronic music, musicals, movie scores, and jazz musicians) from Southern Germany, three types of music-creating artists could be discerned: the avant-gardists, the neo-romantics, and the self-disclosing artists. These types represent social groups that are prone to typical intergroup conflicts. The different types of music-creating artists adhere to different aesthetic ideals: the avant-gardists emphasize the abstract beauty of musical structures and try to develop their music from within the music itself, the neo-romantics view music as the true language of the heart and try to express something through their music, and the self-disclosing artists feel the drive to express their feelings and sensations by means of music. As a consequence, different dimensions of musical communication are pivotal: formal aspects, the relationship between the musician and the listener, and self-disclosure. Superego between love and JOUISSANCE The text approaches the relationship among superego, love and jouissance . The Freudian proposal of Oedipal inheritance puts in prominence the renouncement to drive satisfaction for the love to the father. Freud describes the subject’s maneuvers to guarantee the love of the superego, strategies that are not always successful. Lacan, from a certain moment on, abandons the Freudian proposal in relation to the father of the law and proposes the mandate “enjoy!” as the true superego imperative. He identifies among the current effects of the decline of the paternal imago, the rise of authoritarian leaders that favors the experience of the devastation of the subject for his submission to the Other who orders the incessant search for absolute satisfaction.
