A study on QT interval in patients affected with inflammatory bowel disease without cardiac involvement.
Mario Curione,Annalisa Aratari,Silvia Amato,Marco Colotto,Maria Barbato,Silvia Leone,Andi Tego,Diego Panetti,C. Parlapiano +8 more
TL;DR: It appears evident that accurate monitoring of QT parameters is required in patients affected by inflammatory bowel disease who often experience electrolyte disturbances and who may, in some cases, be undergoing treatment with potentially cardiotoxic drugs such as infliximab.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dopamine receptor subtypes in the human coronary vessels of healthy subjects.
Gianfranco Tonnarini,C. Parlapiano,Daniela Cavallotti,Andi Tego,Mario Curione,Giuseppe Giancaspro,Giovanni Maria Vincentelli,Silvia Leone,Carlo Cavallotti +8 more
TL;DR: Dopamine D1 and D2 receptor subtypes are the most expressed in the wall of human coronary vessels of healthy subjects, suggesting their prominent role in the coronary vasoactivity.
Journal Article
[Diagnosing silent cardiac dysautonomia via ambulatory blood pressure monitoring: early diagnosis shown by the lack of heart rate circadian rhythm in type 1 diabetes mellitus].
Pietro Cugini,Silvia Amato,Giovanna Tarquini,S. Mercuri,Irene Turinese,Andi Tego,Marco Rossetti,D. Panetti,Tiziana Filardi,Mario Curione,Susanna Morano +10 more
TL;DR: The disappearance of HR CR in DM1 reveals the involvement of neurovegetative biological clock that selectively controls the HR CR, as it is demonstrated by the pathophysiological finding of an internal desynchronization between the HR and BP CR.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
