A possibility has been investigated to diagnose the condition of a cylinder-piston group in the diesel engine KamAZ-740.63-400 for trucks KamAZ-6460 after a 60,000 km run. The following diagnosing parameters have been selected: a crankcase gas pressure, the compression and vacuometric properties of a cylinder-piston group. A special feature of these mated parts is that they maintain the normal combustion process in the diesel engine cylinders, as well as its resource. We have determined the boundary limits for diagnosing a crankcase gas pressure ‒ 2.39‒2.41 KPa. Based on data about the crankcase gas pressure, the examined trucks revealed malfunctions on the runs of 36,000 km, 48,000 km, 60,000 km. Given the rules for assessing the characteristics of compression-related faults, the minimum compression value for the diesel engines was 30.05 MPa or its difference among the cylinders did not exceed 10–12 %. The data on compression helped detect faults after 48,000 km run and 60,000 km run. We have determined the boundaries of wear based on the vacuometric parameters: maximum vacuum – 69–86 KPa; residual vacuum – 26–41 KPa. Control of the vacuometric properties of a cylinder-piston group has revealed faults in the diesel engines over their run interval of 36,000–60,000 km. An entropy approach has been applied to estimate the informativeness of the appropriate diagnosing parameters in bits. The informativeness level of a crankcase gas pressure is 0.329 bits, compression in cylinders – 0.249 bits, vacuometric indicators – 0.582 bits. This study allows the rational formation of the diesel engine condition diagnosing complexes during technical operation, as well determining the prerequisites for malfunctions. Development of a system for determining the informativeness of the diagnosing parameters for a cylinder­piston group in the diesel engine during operation

Invention proposes an adaptive gripping device of an industrial robot, which combines functions of capturing different-shape manipulation objects with control of deviations from the shape of these objects. The device is a T-shaped frame with three Bernoulli grips pivotally mounted thereon and a pneumatic sensor. Analytical dependencies are presented for determination of design parameters of adaptive gripping device and calculation of required lifting force of each of Bernoulli Gripping Device (BGD). Formula is derived for determining its position of pneumatic sensor on frame of gripping devices. In the ANSYS-CFX software environment, numerical simulation of airflow dynamics in the gap between the cooperating BGD surfaces and the offset mirror antenna plate blank. The simulation was based on the Reynolds-Averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) equations of viscous gas dynamics, the Shear Stress Transport (SST) model of turbulence, and the y model of laminar–turbulent transition. As a result of the simulation, the effect of the curvature radius of the surface of the plates of offset mirror antennas on the BGD power characteristics was determined.

Gripping devices of industrial robots for manipulating offset dish antenna billets and controlling their shape

The work presents an analytical study of “crosshead-slide rail” wear effect on stress state of a double piston pump’s rod. The authors proposed an engineering model of pump’s rod stress state and analytically analyzed a pump rod's stress state caused by wear of the “crosshead-slide rail” pair. It was stated, that wear values according to regulations and directive documents can refer to significant values of rod’s residual stresses. The numerical validation of the obtained results was carried out on for drill pump rods, including reinforced functional coatings.

Analytical study of “crosshead – slide rail” wear effect on pump rod stress state

This paper reports a comparative study of the polymeric materials operating in conjugation with steel. In agricultural engineering, a significant role in structural materials belongs to polymer composites. This type of material is characterized by the low price, small technological cost, as well as acceptable processing characteristics. It has been found that it is necessary to form, for each type of mated parts, a set of materials that could maximally meet the operational conditions. To describe the operating conditions in more detail, they need to be generalized for the specific tribological and loading characteristics. Based on this, such load regimes were selected that correspond to the movable mated parts in sowing complexes. For these mated parts, it was necessary, in the course of the tribological study, to choose a material with minimal technological deviations but with enhanced tribotechnical characteristics. The result of this study has established that under the predefined conditions a polymer-composite material with the high-modulus filler PA-6.6+30 % F demonstrates the best tribophysical characteristics compared to the material PA-6.6. The proposed material, in conjugation with steel 1.1191, has a friction coefficient that is 38...41 % lower, while the temperature in the contact area is 8...12 % less, than that in conjugation with the material PA-6.6. Based on the metallographic analysis of friction surfaces, one can argue that a polymer composite with a high-modulus filler creates favorable conditions for their implementation in the moving units of machines. The results reported here make it possible to analyze and synthesize composite materials primarily for agricultural engineering, taking into consideration their tribological properties. The findings may be particularly interesting for service departments and enterprises producing parts for sowing complexes

Виявлено, що дана трибологічно активна добавка дає можливість формувати трибологічні властивості, що забезпечують нормальні умови експлуатації спряжень деталей трибосистеми. На основі оптимізації технічного стану трибологічно активної добавки отримано раціональні значення кожного з її складових. Оптимізацію проведено за умов, що величина зношування повинна прямувати до мінімуму, а критичне навантаження та навантажування зварювання – до максимуму. На основі експериментальної бази даних на чотирикульковій машині тертя отримано рівняння для кожної з функцій відгуку результуючих ознак. Отриманні регресійні рівняння та значення функції бажаності порядку 0,698 дали можливість визначити склад трибологічно активної добавки: метакаолін, дисперсійний порошок глини з Катеринівського родовища, олеат натрію, гідрооксид літію та сірки. Встановлено, що при використанні отриманої трибологічної активної добавки в лабораторних умовах зафіксовано зменшення зношування зразків на 26,8 %, збільшення критичного навантаження на 17,2 %, збільшення навантажування зварювання на 4,89 %. Аналіз експериментальних даних свідчить, що пропоновану трибологічно активну добавку можливо експлуатувати при локальному контактному навантажуванні в контакті до 1078 Н та при піковому перенавантажуванні до 2372 Н. Результати досліджень дають підстави стверджувати, що пропонована трибологічно активна добавка дає можливість покращити характеристики трибосистем. Determining the rational composition of tribologically active additive to oil to improve characteristics of tribosystems

Competition in the field of logistics and individual transport services requires the constant analysis of logistics chains and their individual links. Given analysis enables implementation of new approaches to logistics companies and networks trade marketing in the offtake of certain types of goods. Industrial and commercial enterprises have to expand their trade and economic relations with other regions with the aim to provide the necessary sales volumes in the domestic market of regions and to go beyond it. Integration of the country's economy and the free trade policy orientation greatly simplify the task of establishing the free trade and economic relations between producers and consumers. However, there is a question of how quickly and efficiently; with minimal logistics costs, the goods at the right region of the customer should be delivered.
The experiment on a one-storey closed warehouse No 3 of Brovary "UVK Ukraine", where a process of the crossdocking warehousing, with subsorting from a warehouse, has been conducted. The warehouse mainly works on trading networks. The loading of the warehouse has been performed with the input flow intensity within (12.3 ... 23.56 (t/h)). During the experiment, the number gain of loading and unloading machines (Electrostacks Reath Track OMG NEOS LAT 3.0) a pcs in the process of unloading, loading and moving consignments, has been examined. In addition, the increasing number of workers employed in non-mechanized forms of work, such as receiving and stacking cargo in the reception area (moving the relevant consignments to designated areas of the reception area and its arrangement), which in total is an increase of 4 employees in the technological process of the warehouse operation, has been investigated during the experiment. The growing of labor and mechanized resources makes it possible to better organize the work of the warehouse, reduce total costs and increase cargo output flow. Conducting the process of warehouse work optimization on the formed technology and corresponding labor and mechanized resources caused an increase of its efficiency. It has been found that the optimal values of intensity of the incoming cargo flow will be 17.93 (t/h); the number of employees engaged in non-mechanized labor - 12 workers, and loading and unloading machines - 3 (pcs). Under such conditions, the warehouse functioning according to the desirability level will reach value 0.792. In this case, the cost value of warehouse work is 181.07 US$/h and cargo output flow intensity is 10.23 (t/h). Results of experimental studies have shown that implementation of the proposed method of increasing the efficiency of warehouse work, based on the company "UVK Ukraine" may, on average, achieve a total cost reduction of 17.2% and an increase in output flow by 34.6% and the input flow by 10.3%.

Increasing the Functioning Efficiency of the Working Warehouse of the “UVK Ukraine” Company Transport and Logistics Center

The paper reports an analysis into tribological efficiency of mating parts "polymeric-composite materials ‒ steel" is carried out. Improperly selected materials produce significant operating costs in terms of tribology. Therefore, selecting the type of polymeric-composite materials to be used in the structures of nodes and machine parts is a task related to substantial improvement of their technical level. The testing of samples made from polymeric-composite materials for relative abrasive resistance when mated with samples made from steel 45 has made it possible to establish that the lowest value for weight wear was demonstrated by material Nylon 66. Among the examined materials, the closest to Nylon 66 in terms of the values for relative abrasive resistance is the material PA-6-210KS that demonstrated the values that are 1.65 times less. During operation of machines, in the presence of abrasive wear, it is advisable to mate the materials "Nylon 66 – steel 45" and "PA-6-210KS – steel 45". The results from a tribotechnical study without lubrication at the friction machine SMC-2 for the mating parts "polymeric-composite material – steel 45" make it possible to establish that the least wear was demonstrated by sample made from the material UPA-6-30, that is 0.00083 g. In terms of wear resistance, the closest to it is a sample from the material PAG/6.6 R196-GF30, which is 6.1 times greater for weight wear. The sample made from steel 45 mated with a sample from the material UPA-6-30 has the lowest value of weight wear, 0.00005 g. At the same time, the lowest value for the friction coefficient is demonstrated by the mated materials "steel 45 – UPA-6-30", 0.163. The progress of the mating process is achieved fastest, after 20 minutes, when using the material UPA-6-30 at a temperature in the friction zone of 348±2 K. Our research is necessary to substantiate further utilization and selection of polymeric-composite materials for mating parts working under difficult conditions. The current study is of interest to manufacturers of agricultural and quarry machinery and various transport machines.

Existing control systems of sowing machines are intricate and not reliable enough. In these systems, devices are connected by a variety of signal and power wires. This leads to a \"problem of interfaces\" and a decrease in the efficiency of the control process. The solution to this problem is based on the mechatronic approach or combining elements and control units into mechatronic modules. They are characterized by reliability, compact design and lower cost. The improvement of functional and structural integration of the control system components by their integration into the mechatronic module is considered. The module of regulation of seeding rate on the basis of software and hardware platform Arduino is developed. The work of the proposed control system when changing the seeding rate in the seeding system is studied.
