Journal ArticleDOI

Synthetic organic dyes as contaminants of the aquatic environment and their implications for ecosystems: A review.

TL;DR: The hazard potential of synthetic organic dyes should be assessed, especially their influence on aquatic biota, not least because dyes in water ecosystems may pose a threat to animal or human health as higher-order consumers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-residue method for the determination of pesticides and pesticide metabolites in honeybees by liquid and gas chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry--Honeybee poisoning incidents.

TL;DR: The developed method allows determination of insecticides at concentrations of 10 ng/g or less, except abamectin and tebufenozide, and values are lower than the median lethal doses LD50 for bees.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of malachite green and leucomalachite green in carp muscle by liquid chromatography with visible and fluorescence detection

TL;DR: A liquid chromatography-VIS/FLD method for the analysis of malachite green and its major metabolite, leucomalachite green in carp muscle has been described and specificity, stability, decision limit, detection capability, accuracy and precision were determined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of neonicotinoids and 199 other pesticide residues in honey by liquid and gas chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry

TL;DR: A modified QuEChERS method that allows determination of neonicotinoids as well as other insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, acaricides, growth regulators and veterinary drugs in honey samples in optimised conditions is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dispersive solid-phase extraction for the determination of sulfonamides in chicken muscle by liquid chromatography.

TL;DR: The dispersive SPE with octadecyl sorbent was found suitable for sample preparation before sulfonamide determination in chicken muscle, and the most of endogenous matrix components were removed and the analytes were isolated from spiked samples with recoveries above 90%.
