The structure effect on the surface and interfacial properties of zwitterionic sulfobetaine surfactants for enhanced oil recovery

TL;DR: In this article, the surface and interfacial properties of five zwitterionic surfactants, including three propyl sulfobetaines CSB (where the carbon atom number of the alkyl chain is 12, 14 and 16, respectively) and two hydroxypropyl sarsobetaine surfactant CHSB (with carbon atom numbers 12 and 14, respectively), were studied at both air-water and oil-water interfaces.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced foam stability by adding comb polymer gel for in-depth profile control in high temperature reservoirs

TL;DR: In this paper, a long-term stability of gel enhanced foam as an in-depth profile control agent in high temperature reservoirs was successfully prepared by adding comb polymer gel, which can enhance the thickness and strength of foam film.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental study and application of gels formed by nonionic polyacrylamide and phenolic resin for in-depth profile control

TL;DR: In this paper, a phenolic resin cross-linked nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM) gel used for in-depth profile control was systematically analyzed and a compact three-dimensional network structure was formed in the bulk gel system and in porous media.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of preparation and mechanisms of a dispersed particle gel formed from a polymer gel at room temperature.

TL;DR: A dispersed particle gel was successfully prepared from a polymer gel at room temperature and showed that the particles were polygonal particles with nano-size distribution and could be an efficient and energy-saving technology for preparation of DPG particles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation on the aggregation behavior of photo-responsive system composed of 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide and 2-methoxycinnamic acid

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel fluid system composed of 2-methoxycinnamic acid (trans-OMCA) and 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide (C16mimBr) in an aqueous solution was investigated.
