Statistical optimality and stability of tangent transform algorithms in logit models
TL;DR: This work utilizes the theory of dynamical systems to provide convergence guarantees for such algorithms in logistic and multinomial logit regression models and establishes local asymptotic stability of the algorithm without any assumptions on the data-generating process.

Comment on Article by Dawid and Musio
TL;DR: In this paper, Dawid and Musio discuss Bayesian model selection based on proper scoring rules, and propose a proper scoring rule based model selection algorithm for the Bayesian classifier.

Optimal Gaussian approximations to the posterior for log-linear models with Diaconis-Ylvisaker priors
TL;DR: In this article, the optimal Gaussian approximation to the posterior for log-linear models with Diaconis-Ylvisaker priors is derived, and convergence rate and finite-sample bounds for the Kullback-Leibler divergence between the exact posterior and the optimal GAussian approximation are provided.

Stay with me: Lifetime maximization through heteroscedastic linear bandits with reneging
TL;DR: In this paper, a model of heteroscedastic linear bandits with reneging is proposed, which allows each participant to have a distinct "satisfaction level, with any interaction outcome falling short of that level resulting in that participant Reneging, and allows the variance of the outcome to be context-dependent.
