Photoactivation of Ruthenium Olefin Metathesis Initiators
Amos Ben-Asuly,Amos Ben-Asuly,Anna Aharoni,Charles E. Diesendruck,Yuval Vidavsky,Israel Goldberg,Bernd F. Straub,N. Gabriel Lemcoff +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the UV irradiation of latent sulfur-chelated ruthenium olefin metathesis precatalysts produced a cis-dichloro−trans-dichtloro photoisomerization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ligand Isomerization in Sulfur-Chelated Ruthenium Benzylidenes
Anna Aharoni,Yuval Vidavsky,Charles E. Diesendruck,Amos Ben-Asuly,Amos Ben-Asuly,Israel Goldberg,N. Gabriel Lemcoff +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of solvents and additives on the isomerization process was analyzed in sulfur-chelated ruthenium benzylidenes, and the cis−trans isomer equilibria had a strong effect on the olefin metathesis reactivity; the bulkier cis-dichloro catalysts which show a larger amount of trans isomer in the equilibrium, were more reactive than their less bulky counterparts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Towards Control of Dendrimer Properties by Reversible Exchange of Termini: Synthesis and Characterization of Diverse Porphyrin Dendrimers
TL;DR: Porphyrin dendrimers with boronic ester, aldehyde, and pyridil termini were synthesized and fully characterized in this paper, where they have the potential to change their physical and chemical properties by reversible alteration of the reactive terminal groups.
