Human-Centred Dissemination of Data, Information and Knowledge in Industry 4.0
TL;DR: There exists an urgency to design: both a holistic framework for identifying and accommodating individuals’ needs and expectations of relevant data, information and knowledge; and demonstrators and concepts to simplify the implementation of Industry 4.0.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sustainability performance indicators at shop floor level in large manufacturing companies
Mats Zackrisson,Martin Kurdve,Sasha Shahbazi,Magnus Wiktorsson,Mats Winroth,Anna Landström,Peter Almström,Carin Andersson,Christina Windmark,Anna Ericson Öberg,Andreas Myrelid +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated sustainability in the performance measurement systems of Swedish manufacturing companies and found that 90% of the indicators have at least an indirect relation to one or more of the sustainability dimensions economy, environment and social, of which 26% are at least indirectly related to the environmental dimension.
Journal ArticleDOI
Designing visual management in manufacturing from a user perspective
Martin Kurdve,Martin Kurdve,Ulrika Harlin,Malin C Hallin,Carina Söderlund,Martina Berglund,Ulrika Florin,Anna Landström +7 more
TL;DR: The paper proposes a lean Kata-improvement inspired design method, which takes the personnel’s perspective on design of daily visual management, and what type of information and key performance indicators are most relevant for the personnel.
How changes in cognitive automation can affect operator performance and productivity
TL;DR: In this paper, a LEGO experiment with 40 students was conducted to understand what affects operator performance and productivity, and the results indicated that cognitive support has an impact on the final assembly and it is therefore possible to achieve better operator performance if instructions and material facade are improved.
Present state analysis of business performance measurement systems in large manufacturing companies
Anna Landström,Carin Andersson,Christina Windmark,Peter Almström,Mats Winroth,Magnus Wiktorsson,Sasha Shahbazi,Martin Kurdve,Mats Zackrisson,Anna Ericsson Öberg,Andreas Myrelid +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the present state of the performance measurement systems (PMS) at 7 sites of 6 different large Swedish manufacturing companies is investigated, and the authors empirically investigate the state of these systems.
