Doses e épocas de aplicação de nitrogênio em arroz de várzea

TL;DR: The objective of this study was to identify the nitrogen doses and application times most adjusted to the rice cultivar BRS Jacana, in Roraima lowlands, and to recommend new cultivars and correct handling for nitrogen fertilizing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Index selection can improve the selection efficiency in a rice recurrent selection population.

TL;DR: Estimating genetic parameters for different traits in a rice breeding population and comparing three selection indices found that when the random weights and $$b$$ -variation index were used as economic weight, it was found lower gains or no gains, showing that the gains attained with Smith and Hazel and Tai indices were linked to economic weights used.
Journal ArticleDOI

Adaptabilidade e estabilidade de acessos de uma coleção nuclear de arroz

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance and yield adaptability and stability of each genotype were evaluated using the additive main effects and multiplicative interactions (AMMI) approach, in nine field experiments, carried out in six Brazilian states, under dry and irrigated conditions, during three years.

Journal ArticleDOI

Genetic Divergence among Camu-Camu Plant Populations Based on the Initial Characteristics of the Plants

TL;DR: Evaluating the genetic diversity among 15 indigenous populations of camu-camu plants identified important characteristics in the evaluation of genetic divergence, based on the initial characteristics of the seedlings, which are those that most indicate genetic divergence.
