Pharmacological profile of CS-3150, a novel, highly potent and selective non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist

TL;DR: It is indicated that CS-3150 is a selective and highly potent mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist with long-lasting oral activity and could be useful for the treatment of hypertension, cardiovascular and renal disorders.

Atropisomer of pyrrole derivative

TL;DR: In this article, an agent for prevention or treatment of cardiovascular diseases is defined as an atropisomer of a compound represented by the following general formula (I): [chemical formula 1] (In the formula, R1 represents a C1-C3 alkyl group or a hydroxy C1 -C3 group; and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a C 1 -C 3 alkoxy group.)
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structure of the mineralocorticoid receptor ligand-binding domain in complex with a potent and selective nonsteroidal blocker, esaxerenone (CS-3150).

TL;DR: It is found that esaxerenone binds to MR‐LBD in a unique manner with large side‐chain rearrangements, distinct from those of previously published MR antagonists, providing great insight into the novelty, potency, and selectivity of this novel antihypertensive drug.

1-phenylpyrrole compounds

TL;DR: In this paper, a compound for the prevention and/or treatment of cardiovascular diseases, nephropathy, fibrosis, primary aldosteronism or edema is described.

Atropisomers of (hydroxyalkyl) pyrrole derivatives

TL;DR: In this article, an atropisomer of a compound represented by the following general formula (I ) is presented: wherein R1 represents a C1-C3 alkyl group; R2 represents a 2-hydroxy-C4-C6 alkyyl group, R3 represents a halogeno group, a halogeneo-C 1 -C3 -alkyl groups and the like; R4 represents a hydrogen atom; R5 represents a c 1-C 3 alkyal group; and R6 represents a HOG,
