Adaptive Video Streaming Testbed Design for Performance Study and Assessment of QoE

TL;DR: Experimental results show that the proposed virtualized system is agile, easy to install and use, and costs less than real testbeds, and it is proven that the segment lengths of 6 to 8 seconds were faired and more efficient than others according to the investigated parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

A QoE adaptive management system for high definition video streaming over wireless networks

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the involved parameters is studied based on characteristics of the video, wireless channel capacity, and receivers' aspects, which collapse the quality of experience (QoE).
Journal ArticleDOI

An automated model for the assessment of QoE of adaptive video streaming over wireless networks

TL;DR: In this paper, a methodology design for the evaluation of subjective QoE in adaptive video streaming over wireless networks is introduced, where some parameters are considered such as video characteristics, segment length, initial delay, switch strategy, stalls, as well as QoS parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Post stroke epilepsy in Sudan

TL;DR: In this paper, the clinical presentation of epilepsy among Sudanese patients with stroke was studied and it was found that the majority of those who had epilepsy developed convulsions in the first two weeks following stroke.
Posted ContentDOI

Structure, thermoelectric and electrical properties of bismuth-manganese oxide prepared by mechanochemical method

TL;DR: In this article, a bismuth-manganese oxide phase with chemical formula Bi2Mn4O10 was formed after heat treatment at 1073 K. Structure transformation from crystalline to complete amorphous phase was observed after short time of milling.
