Journal ArticleDOI
Flavonoid and ceroptin pigments from frond exudates of Pityrogramma triangularis
TL;DR: Two chemically distinct golden-yellow flavonoid exudates occur on the underside of fronds of Pityrogramma triangularis : ceroptin and a newly described flavonol, 6-methyl-8-methoxy-3,5,7-trihydroxyflavone.
Journal ArticleDOI
Internal flavonoid patterns of diploids and tetraploids of two exudate chemotypes of Pityrogramma triangularis (Kaulf.) Maxon
TL;DR: Flavonoid data suggest that the tetraploid-kaempferol methyl ether chemotype is of alloploid origin involving the two diploid chemotypes because the flavonoid pattern for the former represents a pattern additive of the twodiploids.
Journal ArticleDOI
Triangularin, a new chalcone from Pityrogramma triangularis
TL;DR: In this paper, the exudate farina of the ceroptin chemotype of Pityrogramma triangularis was detected as a minor component in the extract of the extract.
