Journal ArticleDOI

Association of BoLA DRB3 alleles with variability in immune response among the crossbred cattle vaccinated for foot-and-mouth disease (FMD).

TL;DR: It was found that DRB3 alleles 0201, 0801 and 1501 always ranked high for protective immune response whereas alleles 0701, 1103 and 1101 consistently ranked low for unprotected immune response for all the three serotypes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Foot-and-mouth disease virus transmission dynamics and persistence in a herd of vaccinated dairy cattle in India.

TL;DR: Estimation of parameters associated with within-herd FMD transmission, host physiological factors and FMD virus (FMDV) persistence using data collected from an outbreak that occurred at a large, organized dairy farm in India and characterizes duration of FMDV persistence and seroprevalence of F MD under natural conditions in an endemic setting.
Journal ArticleDOI

Serological evidence of foot-and-mouth disease virus infection in randomly surveyed goat population of Orissa, India.

TL;DR: Serological investigations were carried out to generate estimates of antibody prevalence in goats of Orissa state to both non-structural (NSP- Ab) and structural proteins (SP-Ab) of FMD, and the pattern that emerged from SP-Ab analysis indicated goats being infected with all three prevalent serotypes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Porcine sapelovirus among diarrhoeic piglets in India.

TL;DR: The study revealed that five of 70 faecal samples were found positive for PSV using RT-PCR, and complete genome sequencing and analysis of one Indian PSV isolate revealed highest homology with V13 strain from England.
