AHRED: A robust AQM algorithm for wireless ad hoc networks
TL;DR: A new active queue management algorithm based on RED, called AHRED has been designed and compared with different AQM schemes such as Drop-Tail, RED, SRED, and REM to achieve high performance in wireless ad hoc networks.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A review of protocols related to enhancement of TCP performance in wireless and WLAN networks
Ahad Mammadov,Babak Abbasov +1 more
TL;DR: The main causes of TCP performance degradation over wireless networks are identified and some proposed TCP variant to prevent such lack of TCP in wireless and WLAN networks are reviewed.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Cloud computing: State of the art reseach issues
TL;DR: A review of cloud computing technology and its concepts, state-of-the-art implementation, brief architecture and research challenges have been investigated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Using linear interpolation method for packet drop probability function of RED algorithm
TL;DR: Simulations show that proposed AQM algorithm, LIRED proposed by developing packet drop probability function based on linear interpolation method and compared with some AQM algorithms by considering important performance parameters performs better in the bursty network traffic.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative analysis of efficiency of aodv, dsr and wrp routing protocols in ad-hoc networks
TL;DR: Analysis of three routing protocols based on the node density and node mobility shows that DSR (Dynamic Source Routing) protocol has demonstrated better performance in some cases and values, however, AODV (Ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector) routing protocol demonstrated overall better performance than others.
