Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of Dietary Triolein, Tripalmitin, and L-Phenylalanine on Calcium Absorption in the Rat

TL;DR: The Tracer study showed that 25% dietary triolein caused better absorption of calcium than 25% tripalmitin, 80% as compared to 50%, regardless of the nature of triglyceride.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of dietary fats, calcium, and phosphorus on rat serum alkaline phosphatases.

TL;DR: Increased fat asborption led to increased lymph, total serum, and L-phenylalanine-sensitive “intestinal” alkaline phosphatases activities in rats, and Triolein, which is almost completely absorbed, increased the activity of this enzyme.
