Microstructure and friction and wear behavior of laser boronizing composite coatings on titanium substrate

TL;DR: In this article, three kinds of laser boronizing composite coatings were in situ synthesized on Ti substrate by using powders of B, BN and B 4 C as starting materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation, microstructure and tribological properties of Ni3Al intermetallic compound coating by laser cladding

TL;DR: In this article, a single Ni3Al intermetallic compound phase coating was successfully in-situ synthesized by laser cladding with pre-placed Ni and Al mixed powders.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of nanocrystalline Ni3Al by mechanical alloying and its microstructural characterization

TL;DR: In this article, the phase evolution and microstructural changes of the powders during mechanical alloying were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscope, and energy dispersive spectrometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel visible-light-driven photoconductive properties of LaCoO3 epitaxial nano-thin films

TL;DR: In this article, LaCoO 3 nano-thin films were grown on (0, 0, 1), (1, 1, 0) and (1, 1, 1) oriented SrTiO 3 substrates by the polymer assisted deposition method, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile and ligand-free synthesis, phase transformation, structures and phase-dependent optical properties of BiVO4 nanocrystals

TL;DR: In this paper, a facile ligand-free strategy for the fabrication of highly photoluminescent BiVO4 nanocrystals under mild conditions was demonstrated, in which the crystalline structures, local structures, morphological features, chemical compositions, surface chemistry and optical properties of the resulting BiVO 4 nanocrystal were explored in detail using several techniques, e.g., X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X -ray spectrograph, elemental distribution technique, UV-visible absorption spect
